Agreed. Screenshots to come, Hellstorm is talking to me and we're getting no where. He insists they didn't steal, even though their own members confessed to it.

Plus, he wasn't even there when it happened it seems, so he can't know of anything for sure.

Well, SereneEternity has asked me to act as a middle-man, so here we go.

The problem right now is, we've been discussing it for quite some time, and we've been hoping to be able to come to terms and have each side apologize for their mistakes. Though Hellstorm is not willing to accept that it was stolen, I'd like to think we can settle this as reasonable adults, here.

Honcho, if you hope to get the stone, I suggest you cease this ridiculous flame. Continuously insulting Hellstorm and the rest of SereneEternity is not helping your cause at all, and making him reconsider the idea of settling this properly. I'm not asking you to stop being angry and give up, but if you don't try to settle this calmly, well, there's just no hope.

Both sides of the arguement are being stubborn, and I'd like to not see friendships break just because of a series of misunderstandings and miscommunication.

In short, I'm asking you to stop bashing Hells and the rest of SereneEternity for at LEAST a few hours and try to talk this thing out like an adult. The dispute between whether or not it was "stolen" isn't terribly important. What needs to be done is find a way we can come to an agreement on how things can be fixed. Needless to say, I think both sides must apologize for the way they have been acting. I'm certain most of the people reading this thread can see that by now considering how much it's already derailed.

Because i spoke to one in the discussion, the discussion isnt getting anywhere, Hellstorm is still being a fucktard and still claims he got the stone fair and square, and will not either compensate nor give the stone back... Thats why Shyrra

Its already pretty much decided they are not getting their stone back. Hellstorm has already put his foot down that Stealing is the best solution in order to get NMs. I continue to make commentary about SE, simply because they have said negative things to my linkshell for no reason, PLUS they stole Despot from my linkshell in the past(Quieren was Duoing it w/ another bst). This thread hit right at home since they have done it at least a few times in the past...

I appologize for hitting klank w/ that, did not mean to make fun of the Mediator. I've spoken w/ klank he is a good person

It's true, Klank did leave, and we were all rather grateful for him stepping up and telling his LS that it wasn't right. But I think some of the things we had problems with were:

It's not a ridiculous flame, for one, though the length of the flame is getting somewhat ridiculous. They were spam-voking and spam-Stunning on a legit LS that had full control on Despot. Any way you slice it, that's rather low. It's one thing to spam on an RMT group, but on a legitimate shell? If you steal the claim and take the drop, then refuse to give the drop over, that's not "being stubborn" if people are upset or demanding the stone. That's the steal-ees wanting what should've been theirs.

I'm not a leader of TheFlock by any stretch of the imagination, so this is just my $.02. But it's a little eyebrow-raising for me that Klank is suddenly saying our flame was ridiculous when he left his own LS over the exact same issue.

Just seems like you didn't give any form of mediation much of a chance, which puts you at fault as well, for not getting your stone back. Granted, this shouldn't be required in the first place. but whatever.

to be honest, i and theflock want our gem back but we're not gonna sit here and apologize to get it back. we did absolutely nothing wrong except for maybe saying some cusswords... which is kinda understandable given the circumstances...

It isnt my stone, we wont ever get the one SE stole from us... Which is fine by me. I have helped SE once or twice in the past as a favor to Meghan, now that ive seen this happen again i'll never help them ever again.

I give mediation a chance and didnt post for almost 5 hours if you noticed. I waited until I got a yay or a nay on the conversation that was being held between Theflock and SE. I was told by a few people that the conversation was going nowhere. I respect the mediation HOWEVER i will not stand and let the flame die of this fucktardish linkshell if there is no compromise

Personally, I believe that this should stay between TheFlock and SereneEternity, and not necessarily involve QCDN. The Flameboard is not the best place to settle a dispute, as the word "flame" implies. I feel that the participants of the incident would be able to discuss this more calmly than the constant mockery and flaming that comes with the Flameboard. Nevertheless, it has already reached the Flameboard, and I hope the rest of the discussion can be taken to private messages with the leaders, themselves.

The point of mediation is for both sides to admit their faults and come to a common agreement on what is the fair and right thing to do. The point of mediation is not for one shell to withhold a reputedly stolen (and indeed, believed by most readers of this thread to be stolen) item and only relinquish it if the victims of theft basically pretend that it never happened. That's really more along the lines of blackmail or ransom than mediation.

The stone itself is not, I suspect, really at issue. As already pointed out a few times, Despot pops plenty of times a day and one stone doesn't make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. The issue is morals and ethics, respectability, stealing, keeping and saving face, and doing the right thing. Going "I'll give this stolen thing back to you if you pretend I didn't do anything wrong *and* you apologize for getting mad at me for stealing it" is, well ... not exactly gonna redeem SereneEternity in those regards, in the view of anyone with a halfway working brain.

As for the input of the flameboard, that is equivalent to a mediation panel in a real mediation, and it *is* an important part of the discussion. It's (largely) educated opinions based on the facts presented, and free of any bias that one side or the other might have about wanting the stone (or whatever) themselves. Because no matter who "wins", the peanut gallery ain't getting the stone.

(Yes, you can ignore all the potshots at Hellstorm and whatnot, but the peanut gallery *does* have valid opinions that *aren't* potshots if you bother reading.)

You all are sitting here tearing up three people who are good players and made a mistake. Honcho, from what I have heard from everyoen there, yes SE did take claim on Despot, yes the PLD did provoke, yes they do have the gem.


Now, here is where TheFlock is in the wrong. They ask for gem back, which is fine. SE said no, eventhough, most members including Ariesol and Goldenboy wanted to give the gem back to theFlock. Ariesol D'Ced after the fight according to his story, and I do trust Ariesol. So if he d'ced how did he say the things he claimed to say? Show some screens shots, and then I'll believe it. So...rather than talk it out, what happens???

It gets posted onto drama central, which is QCDN. Now, everyone is giving them tells, and making it miserable for them. This is a game. Stop causing drama.

GB was spamming the voke for fun, when it accendentally went off, another PLD on the side then cast another provoke, confirming the claim for SE.
W/out screenies from either a Member of SE or theFlock, I don't fully believe anything besides this,

SE were being rude for claiming and not returning gem. But theFlock are being absolutle ASSHOLES by flaming good players, when it all be settled w/ each shell respectively apologizing and the gem being returned. You people need to grow up, as opposed to flaming good player, everyone makes mistakes, this was a mistake on SE's part. But theFlock has done not a damn thing to correct the situation, only make it worse.

Leaders from each shells need to meet and discuss on a compromise here. Bottom line. THE END P.S. Screenies for proof or you're all lying to get sympathy there.
