Well, this will be first post in years on this site. First off, Flock members, I'm very sorry for the series of events that have taken place. With that said, I would like to point out that you have a very poor representative in Honcho and you should look into if you want a person with his attitude representing your LS. Yeah I know, teapot callin the kettle black. I want to clear some stuff up, from my point of view.
That day was just a normal day in sky for us, we had ToD on Despot because we killed it already earlier. So when it was time, we came back to get the next pop. There were CC there camping it, no big deal, what else is new right? Most of my ppl were distracted when the NM pops so the Flock ppl beat us to claim, fair and square. Here's where shit hits the fan and I wish I was paying more attention at the time it happened. But, I was to busy getting beat up with doll aggro from magic use /sigh. From hearing everyone's point of view I agree it was a steal on our behalf, and I don't condone that.
Not sure still exactly how the claim took place due to the fact I had to run and die in a corner, but a couple of vokes were used. After it was dead, I get raised, not even a minute goes by and I lose my internet, stone hasen't even dropped yet, shitty wireless connection ftw.. I come back on 10-15 min later and everyone has moved on to the next thing. I have confirmed a few things did not happen for sure as described, believe what you like, anyone on here that actually knows me knows I am an honest and straitforward person. For one thing, there was no curing of anyone for hate, talked to people I trust about this and they all agree. Also confirmed, nobody in my LS was told to "STFU", we do not treat people that way and I'm dissappointed in the parties involved with that rumor.
The way this has been handled from the start is what has lead it to this point. Some people have the viewpoint that hate was lost and it was fair play, like Hellstorm, who apparently has a very bad rep on here already. As for me, I don't agree with that when it comes to other legitimate players, on anything at all, HNM, Sky, Sea, whatever. Anyway, thats a moral issue and everyone is entitled to thier opinion on it. When I returned from my usual d/c of the day, everything was calm and seemed to be normal far as I knew. But in reality thats not the fact, damage was done that I didn't know yet. Some time goes by, we call it a day, I'm in my MH bored as hell and I get a tell like this.. "Congradulations on being a piece of shit". It was Honcho, my only response to somone talking to me like that was... "You need to grow up". He keeps going on with insults and saying he is going to flame us, at this point I am not feeling very diplomatic about the issue, didn't have much to say to a person cursing at me and calling me a name in every tell.
Now, with that all being said, Meghan in the meantime has talked to reasonable people in the Flock and it's already been worked out. So much more efficient when your civil about it right? Just want to point out that if I had known it was a steal from the beggining I would have rectified it on the spot, but I was disconnected from the game and Hellstorm was the only lead online when the decision was made to not give the stone to them, again that's a moral thing that everyone's views are extremely apparant on, including my own.
I will end this by saying my LS is a very nice group of ppl with good morals, you can see that from some of the posts from some of the members that this has affected. We all have our bad apples, there's really no control over that, and you can't classify a whole group based on the actions and feelings you have towards 1 person, which is the case here, I'm sure lessons were learned. I am very offended that my name is being dragged through the mud along with my LS as a whole. I know alot of you out there have a predetermined opinion about us now that this happened, but trust me it will not take place again. I have not been on the game yet but I know the stone is to change hands today if possible, I am deeply sorry for the way that day went down. It could have been handled alot better on both ends. I do not condone taking claim from a legit shell, I also do not talk to people who can't be civilized and talk to me with respect.
I'm not going to respond to this post anymore, this is my only time. I am dissappointed with some folks on here and what they've said, and on the same token I am very proud to anyone that's stuck up for me as a person in general. Takes alot of guts to step up to this bloodthirsty format with something real to say. I wish you all the best in whatever you do out there.
