But yes, as seen on the AH, I'm buying Air Tanks, I'll need about 50, because that's about how many I'll be sh-!tting away before the elephantman drops the goddamn boots. But that's OK, it's not like I have anything better to do with than 5m+ gil and 20h+ I'll be sh-!tting away from buying/farming tanks and trekking back and fourth to that hellhole. I think it's fun! You know, kinda like that game where you practice giving yourself root canals with a hammer.

Popped off a NPC in Newton, not a BCNM....problem is the more DDs the worse, since he spams a 500-700 damage AOE that ignores shadows..
And it's a HUGE buttpain to get to. And there's 4 L78-80 mobs that pop there so there's the risk of pops midfight if done wrong..it just totally sucks even trying, worseso when the turd doesn't even drop the damn thing. ><

The NM is easy to get to. Just give the moblin 10k and win the dice to get the pass to the Mine Shaft. Then use him to teleport you there and walk out. Pretty much a straight path there. Be sure to bring firesands just in case someone fucks with the gate.

I have a tank also, and would be willing to tank it for ya. If you got your boots on your first pop, I'd take a shot at a pair for myself, or let ya have the air tank if it didn't drop on yours.
