Well, a level ten on their first job isn't going to have the original 200k in the first place. It's a level 20 BC now. Beastmen Seals are common as dirt. They could get some friends and do the BC. At level 20. So you figure, get your subjob quest done, plus 2 more levels, and 10 levels on a subjob. SUCH HARD WORK THERE, BOSS.

Far better solution than the old alternative of Oztroja Coffers if they didn't want to pay the gil. It was for the better, it's not Square's fault the players have no ambition to earn their gear.

last time i checked you had the be lvl 40 the get an orb for any lvl bcnm. unless the friend uses the orb.

Honestly... hope these stay arounf 1.5 mil at least. Gotta sell 2 since Im done lvling whm after tonight.....
 
Astrals are so worthless... unless you buy gil or have lotz of it or do BCNM its trash to waste that much money for MP
 
Or you could buy pies AND use Astrals and be just that much better.

But most of this server doesn't mind halfassing their jobs, especially at low levels, so whatever.

frist you whould have to have there right job to do the bcnm because there are certain combo that work for bcnm then there some that dont.
Also everyone want money so most people end up spliting profits. Like if you have 10 people sitting there for serket I dont think though 10 people are going say here you can have this serket ring or here you can have this v claw. The price going up on high end item are also effecting the prices of low lvl bcnm items. Why because people are trying to by noble and SH so they sell there astral ring for the higher price to make up for the raising price of the other item. It the ah is the problem people see how many are in stock and the price history so if there is only 1 in stock they will look at the price history and add 100k. that item sells the next person see that the person before him was able to sell for 100k more so he put at same price till that become the new base price on item. then the senario just repeats it self over and over agian. till items will be out of reach for anyone but though that are wealthy. The majority of the wealth are help by 20% of the people in ffxi. The other 80% is just stugling to raise money for items they need, or buy gil to get item they need. Just saying go do the bcnm dont solve the problem. It just a wall saying "ah this dont effect me i got mine when they frist came out so this dont effect me. "<note i to got my astrals when they where 300k> so this really dont effect me either but this will effect though people just starting game, this will effect gil seller who will make more money because the only option you are leaving these people to do is to either A: quit or B: buy gil
 
I predict the price will continue to rise. Especially if this new terrorist job or whatever it is coming out needs MP. Everyone will jump the bandwagon, open this job, and the demand of astrals will skyrocket for a while.
 
Maybe off topic but... EVERY 75 rdm I see using 2 astril rings, realy suk at being a rdm.

And, you realy only need astril rings till 40, then got those 20 MP rings for like 20K I think. But realy, who cares how high the price goes, its not like its something a job MUST have.
 
I never had Astrals and I was fine. I think that they are a waste of money personally. If I get them from a BCNM then I'll keep em, unless I need gear for another job.
 
Saw one in a bazaar last night for 2.5.

If 1.5 is cause for complaint, the person selling for 2.5 should be shot prior to someone even dumber actually paying that amount.
 
LoL Alexander Server astral ring is at steady price of 700k-800k, I don't know what wrong with our Quetzalcoatl server, people said our server is the best server. Well I guess now we're going down, we may end up as the worst Server ever.

I think SH in Alexander server are sill in 5-7mil SH I think, haven't check :P

Alexander is one of the older servers I believe, which means everyone and their mom probably has a set of Astrals.
 
Astral Rings aren't that good anyway. I rather just buy the things at Level 40 for 20 mp+. If you're level 10 and want them I'm sure you can wait, it's not that important.
 
Gotta agree with Sonic..at that low of a level, you can, as previously said, buy a +50mp pie or something....and to counter the "100mp with both rings and pie" idea, hMP at level 10ish is VERY low. Yes, you'd be able to get a decent chain and won't really run out of mp, but once you're out, you'll be resting for a long, LONG time.
Unless of course you use the rings and use wizard cookies or something..but still, bleh. Only good for BRDs, BSTs and Galka in my opinion. =P
