Everyone needs to hear this and tell there ls / friends. Gil sellers have seriously begun to get out of hand. For the past few days a PT of them have camped stroper chyme's 24 hours straight. These unlike your botter gil sellers pull trains to the area where the stroper will spawn and then target it manually using tab. We have to stop this, simply for the fact that this messes up any chance of some 1 who is normally camping nm's.
Gm's havent done nething abot it but why should they. Its our server and lets boot these guys the hell off.

No link pearls. Crappy gear. No response to english or japanese. and they are making 3 mil gil... what u think? Cmon its quite easy to tell who a gill seller is.
 
How do you know they are making 3mill gil?

Though I don't question your accuracy of them being gil seller; I've read much about them.

On a lighter note, it always nice how they are happy to give you a WARP 2 for free if you happen to be stranded in the caves ^^. Especially if you just start playing with "their" stroper chymes. ^^

nuki has sold 6 in the last 3or 4 days.
 
i don't need sniper rings so i don't really care ^^ lol j/k. if the price is dropping, then COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. buy em while their hot.

Well, you'd actually think this would make it easier for you to get a spawn, wouldn't it? I mean, then it's more of a matter of who's fastest to target the spawn and provoke/stun/whatever.
Common tactic on the harder to get NMs is to get a dragoon to take his wyvern out into the middle of everything to make it hard to bot.
 
yea but a single dragon is nothing compared to 9-12 mobs. Plus when a pt of them is camping it and using this tactic they have a better chance of targeting it. and no the price isnt going down on archer rings.

if ur main purpose of playin ffxi is to make rl $ by selling gil then naturally u stop them from making gil. If we can frustrate these guys enuf by not allowing them to make gil they will most likely move on to another server since they dont playthe game for fun.
 
Doesn't Stroper Chyme have one of the worst drop rates in the game? Oh well, whatever, let them kill it 1 million times, whatever,

Most likely they'll move onto another NM, not another server, that would make no sense to start from scratch when there are plenty of NM to camp 24/7.
 
They are pretty annoying yeah... but they are gil sellers. I have a good idea who he's talking about =|

If it's not gil sellers its tabbing voke bots. You can even tell just by how badly their head twitches...

they have been camping it every day for 4 days im writing this as i camp the stroper as well. So far they have made 3 mil in 3 days .

Doesnt mean they are sellers maybe they are some guys tired of pricks like you accusing them of this shit and harrassing them. if they had crappy gear the strop would be able to at least poke holes in them.
 
The camping sux sure, but the training had got to stop! I was in Ordelles late on Friday helping a Friend (Kiere) get her RSE key. Well I was /anon as was the 53 Whm with us, but Kiere kept getting /checked so they knew the bats would aggro her. Well I go walking around while her and the Whm are chilling. All of the sudden I see in the chat window:

Whm: Wow
Kiere: That's a lot of bats!
Whm: Holy Shit!!!
Me: What??
Whm: 100 bats on me, help!


So I go truckin back there as fast as I can. I get back just in time to see the Whm warp out with the last of his MP and very little HP,and Kiere taking a beating. I start -aga2'n the crap out of the mobs. 5/6 jet streams was still almost too much. Checked the log later and there was 12 sets of bats trained right at Kiere. Now I wasn't there (kiere verify this for me please) but apparently this Nin went runnin up with all these bats in tow and 2 houred right in front of Kiere. Sounds suspiciously like a MPK attempt to me. Anyway, long story made short: These trains to kill NM hunters need to stop.

I had to fight Several Trains of Gobs today in the dunes. Some High level person was training them to the Konschtat Zone. When people started cussing him, he would say {You can have this.} {Black List}. After several high level people started taking out his Train before he could get it built back up he left.

I do not think it was Gil Farmer, just some Dick who though it was funny to kill all the level 10 people standing around LFP. Big Reason why I am against PvP, because people like him will spend all his time just killing people for no reason. Though on the other hand, PvP would be a nice way to take out actually Gil Farmers.
 
I actually got into a long argument once on allk with some people over fishing bots. Gil Sellers can be dealt with kind of in the same way. When it comes to fishing bots that Sell back to the AH (Not the ones Selling back to NPC), you simple need to Flood the Market with very cheap fish. You also need to raise the cost of bait needed to catch that fish. At some point of the people running the fishing bots will give up simple because it is no longer worth there time doing it. Problem is the actually people fishing did not want to give up their lucrative method of making money. This also can not be done by one or two people, you need a large community of people to do it, so that no matter what, there is always cheaper fish on the AH, even if they try to buy out the market to resell it.

When it comes to people camping NM’s, all you can do is get a massive force camping as well, give them as much challenge as possible, and when you do get the drops they are trying to get, sell it dirt Cheap. Yep that 120k+ item goes to 30k or less. It will no longer be cost effective for a Gil Farmer to spend 6+ hours to only make 90k worth of Gil.

And I bet you will find the same problem the fishing people had, they do not want to give up there own lucrative money maker to get ride of the Gil Sellers and as long as there is money to be made, people are going to exploit it.
 
Styd you stink. Thats why you cant get get Stroper. Thats all i have to say. ^^
