There's some kind of job cancellation order. It looks as if a certain 3 jobs 2hring will cancel 1 of AV's 2hrs.

You know, it makes sense... AV always uses 2-hours in groups. Chainspell + Manafont, Blood Weapon + Hundred Fists, etc.

Still, doesn't explain how you counter Benediction. 2-hour combo removes the 52k HP he just healed from that insta-ability?

1.Defeat as many of Jailer of Love's pets as possible to weaken his regen

2.Make sure everyone has baraero spells to weaken his wind spells

3.And most importantly, what we apparently haven't noticed all this time, is that every time Absolute Virtue uses a job ability such as 2hrs or Call Wyvern, all job ability timers are reset, virtually letting players 2hr whenever he does. That's a theory. I highly doubt ANYONE has actually had the time and opportunity to try it out yet...

And its quite obvious you need to keep Baraera up to lower the damage of his wind spells. Any WHM not having figured that out is just stupid. Do you know ANYONE not casting the correct bar-spell according to J-Lo's current element? AV is the same thing >.>

I agree. Aren't the devs allowed they're own characters?

Also, I think they have tried to make the gear on the characters used in the video as close to what can be obtained if you are a hardcore player. In there I saw a Koenig (or Kaiser, who knows!) cuirass on the paladins. Only hardcore players can get those as it takes forever to just claim Fafnir/Nidhog (Yeah I haven't camped with an HNMls just yet, I'm just posting my opinion about this).

Anyways, SE had said that they would make a video to show some helpful hints onto how to beat this dick. It seems to me that this boss would take forever to beat, more than what 1 video would handle. I doubt our pcs can handle a 7 hour FFXI video downloading and I doubt they're PCs can make a long video small in file size.

Anyways, thats my opinion.

Has anyone noticed that Asrti was casting Thundaga III during the JoL fight and then happened to use Call Wyvern in the middle of the AV fight? Thats gotta be different fights all rolled into one, as I dont believe you can use Call Wyvern unless DRG is main. Something to think about.

So yeah, its likely several that they've mixed together. Unless he/she switched jobs, but why switch from BLM to DRG? <.<; I'm rather sure they had another DRG there

Hmmm, Its possible to run back to the safehold as a BLM after the JoL fight, switch to DRG and run back to sea during the time it would take to fight this guy... right?

Perhaps AV can use any 2-hour of a person on his hate list if there 2 hour is ready to use.

as can be seen by the WHM's outside the alliance still using Benediction.

Than why would the dev team always wait until AFTER AV 2 HR'd before they all used there 2 HR's? Wouldn't they all have blown them at the start? Instead of waiting for him to use his 1st?
