It does fly, because I was PMd about my avatar in the past, I apologized to the guy, he was real nice about it, I changed my avatar. Problem solved. Just because people run to their "mommy" (mods) instead of TALKING to the offender, doesn't make the "excuse" invalid. People need to man up and stop being pussies and deal with the person, not the mods.

Edit: Had you PMd me, instead of the person who did in the past, Sabs, I'd have been ticked they didn't come to me first, extremely ticked. It's rediculous that people's first reaction is to "tattle."

A lot of people are too shy to personally go around and pm individuals that they have an issue with so they send their mail to a mod.

This issue has been a problem for some peeps and it has been brought to the mods attention.

That doesn't make any sense? Why would you pm someone about someone elses problem that you havn't even attempted to resolve yourself?

I understand you're moderators and it's your "job" to monitor this kind of stuff but why even bring it to you? Is solving it on the lowest possible level such a hard concept to grasp?

Edit to your 2nd post: Then what are we supposed to do about it? Still no notification that we're causing a problem.

That's they're own problem then... If they can't physically present their problem, but instead hide behind someone else, they don't deserve to have any changes made. That's a matter of personal opinion, however.

First off, Flameboard is the only place anything ever gets discussed, lol.

People need to learn to do things in steps then. You first go to the person who is the "offender" lol. If they say "stfu, you big baby," THEN you go to the figure of power.

I'm 16, I live with hmm..my parents.

I like to read QCDN, i see whats goin on everyday in the FFXI world, and whatnottblahblabhalh.

It's one thing where you're not supposed to be on QCDN at work/school (i dont read it during school), but when I feel like I can't read it at home because if my parents saw the avatars of women's titties, I think theres a problem.

I know I'm not the only teenager around QCDN, hell maybe even with married couples..I don't think wives would appriciate their husbands going to a site where theres avatars of women and soft/hardcore porn.

I think the avatars have to go, make a private forum where people can fwapfwap all day long, so people from anywhere can view QCDN safely and not get in trouble.

It take's two people to have a pm war, you don't pm back there can't be a war can there? That's when you go to the mods.

If it is more than one person like you said then, yes I'd have to say go to a mod. Just put it all in one pm and let the mods do their jobs.

Who knows, maybe I'm just for discussion on topics like this but I think this has been a pretty good topic, nobody's turned into pap smears and it's brought some interesting facts to light. I'm a pretty vulgar person and have discussed some pretty sick shit with peeps but the pictures make viewing the board outside of my bedroom an issue. I'm not against it because I think it's sexist or anything like that, or that it offends me - it just makes viewing the board a pain in the ass. If theres a dirty NSFW topic I avoid it but as mentioned before if I"m viewing a topic on summoning skill and there are jugs and dicks all over it starts to bug me.

of course, anyone who comes from a country that elected bush can't have an informed or viable opinion right? not even any mods or admins from the us that you complained to huh? in fact, i'd be willing to bet the majority of the boards is american, might as well leave, how could they have anything worth saying?

lol, I love your wording. I do understand... but I think it's rediculous to have to censor shit because some people are looking at this during work. It's a slightly exaggerated example, but at that rate we're a few steps from Sculli-land and not being able to say.. "Hey, Fuck you Sabs, you MPKd me." My avatar was a picture of an attractive woman in a bikini, I don't think that should be an issue.

We can't force people to do anything with their complaints. I recieved a few PMs about the thread as well. It's good that people can trust their mods and feel comfortable around them to send them issues. We're the people that can take the blunt force of objection, it's our job.

While there is some validity to this statement... it would save you a lot of effort if they'd just come talk to ME first, instead of instantly whining to mommy.
