I havent really noticed anyone whining about anything... At all.

And no, maybe it isnt as hard to obtain as it used to be, obviously, but that changes almost nothing. There are only a limited number of beastman seals until you need to gather more. Its all luck, just like when you would camp argus. So youre someone that got lucky. Props to you.

Lucky? None involved. Alright, maybe some considering we didn't even have a TOD.

Fast forward two years later.

Taking two weeks to obtain two Amulets. Only two to a maximum of six hours camping each day was well worth the effort to have a standard piece of melee equipment.

It's not hard, it just takes effort.


Oh, I'm also in the midst of obtaining a third Amulet. Instead of wasting time camping KOTE/KYAHAN for secondary jobs, I'm more concerned with ungimping my main jobs. You sir, are in the midst of trying to level one of the most expensive jobs: Ninja. And what do you have to show for your DRK? Fuck man, my DRK had a Kraken club, Amulet, and 8 Axe Merits before I started leveling Warrior.

You don't need "luck" to acquire 2mil gil. You just need patience and a farming method or methods of your choice. Pretty simple stuff really.

Which is why I pointed out earlier I dont have the time to farm. So my other method for obtaining these items is by camping. Which I am doing.

You have time to xp jobs and even more laughably to camp r/e items but don't have time to farm for the best neckpiece you can buy? Alrighty then. Here's a tip, in the time you waste camping something daily, you can easily be making a large amount of gil by studying the AH and finding what you can provide that sells quickly and doesn't take long to obtain.

Maybe instead of arguing with people making sense, you should listen. People don't obtain there gear by accident, and we're being kind enough to slap you upside of the head then show you what you did wrong.

Um, lol? You realize that in general those two NMs don't have "windows", right? Unless you're counting the 1hr between death and ability to repop again? I dunno, I would suggest you read up on these guys because just randomly being there isn't really the way to go. I'm tempted to pop up just to outclaim you cause I can, lol.

OR Pop on, farm items between classes getting guaranteed gil towards your goal.
Its highly suspect to think your off-time on classes just so happens to drop exactly on the spawn times of NMs

Then don't recommend to others to take the easy route and gimp themselves. You're already 75 at two jobs that you should have had PCC for LONG ago, you're a lost cause in my opinion.
The fact you try to justify yourself being a RNG without having the most popular RNG piece over the last 4 years is beyond me. That's your decision, its wrong, but I'm not gonna try to change your mind, because you've been riddled in mediocraty for so long you've been accustomed to it. What I do have a problem with is you telling others its ok to do so as well.

People like you created the Ruffy's of the world, getting advice just to get things when you can, until you reach a point when you can't spend the time to get things anymore. Everyone relaxes at some point in their career in this game, and if you start out not caring, then you're gonna be even worse when the grind actually does hit you.

Gimp. I have Haidate, Brutal, Suppa, Haub, Shura Togi, Shura Kabuto, Fuma, Amemit+1, Dusk gloves, AF+1 hands, W. Turban, Bomb core, Breeze Gorget, and some stuff I'm probably forgetting. Maxed str, katana, eva, crits, leveled throwing and parrying. Gimp for 3 extra Acc???? I'm sorry I don't cuss much, but that's absolute BULLSHIT. If I put myself up against other Nin on the servers I feel safe in saying I'm not gonna come out on the gimp end of things.

As far a PCC for Rng, I don't see it. PCC will never make a difference between you using and not using meat, and if you're using Sushi and need something's wrong. If I can use Osode over Jerkin, W. Hands over my S. Kote, Rajas/Str rings over acc rings, and a Wyvern Helmet over my O.Hat, 5 acc is not going to make or break anything. I don't have acc problems before the merit patch, and mow that I can merit archery along with Katana it really isn't an issue.

I have crafting mules I used, used to garden, farm, grind all the time. Easy route, bullshit again. You don't know me, ask any person in any of my shells how hard I work at the game and how well I play my jobs, and then come back and say something to me.

Edit: When I was really into the game, and grinding stuff was through the roof in price a PCC was 20-30 mill or so. I've had the same two 75 jobs forever, I don't have time to support leveling a new job so I don't. Anyone in my shells can tell you that I soign on right before time, and right off after. I have everything I'll ever need from sky, so could I leave the shell and use that time to farm yeah. But if I'm still playing to help the people who helped me, and hang out with my friends, that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it.

Im not really understanding how I, or anyone else, is really looking dumb... Its just a difference in opinion on how important PCC really is...

But anyway, Im going to list all the things I have tried to do to obtain gil:

Farming
Gardening
BCNM'ing
Crafting to a small extent
Fishing to a small extent
Camping NM's

Of those 6 things, BCNM and Camping are my two favorite, because they do not require the amount of time that the others do...

But heres me asking a question about farming, since Ive only ever focused on farming 4 specific things...

#1 and most common was Silk Thread
#2 Tree Cuttings
#3 Wisteria Lumber
#4 Avatar Blood

What would everyone suggest I change my priorities to, then?
