Balmung vs. Balin's Sword

Other than that, stop using a great sword. Back when it was cool to sub thf, I always got better numbers with spiral hell than ground strike at 300%. But I haven't subbed thf on drk in probably over two years, so maybe that changed. Only time I should ever see a GS in your hand is if your there for light sc.

This is probably the number 1 thing. Do.....not....use....GS. Keep a Balins available for times when you need a 300TP Light SC.

The ONLY exceptions is if you have relic GS, or an Algol/Homam Body combo.

But Subduer blows most scythes out of the water!

The Balmung is obviously the better choice: it has a cool purple handle.

It would be fun to play with 5.5% triple attack, but its still not gunna outparse a scythe. Just take that to campaign, or somewhere where your not gimping the group with your lolGS.

I dont know, I have seen some pretty interesting parses of that setup that would definately make it an option.

Honestly in exp always use scythes.

But in shit like Limbus, Dynamis, I liked to play around with great sword sometimes. Its part of the job I play, why not use it? Its not like 500 dmg less is gonna make all the difference in a situation like that ;P

Plus I have an algol, that shits fun to play with ^^

As for the Ground Strike and Spiral Hell comment, back when I did kirin with them, Ground strike always did much more than Spiral hell. There was only Genbu and 1 other god that spiral hell better for me.

I've *never* seen a SATA Kasha beat a SATA SS, and this was back when SATA was the cool thing to do, and Drks got invites when they weren't seeking just for SS.

Sure, that's cool and all, if you're one of those people who love their e-peen numbers on boreal hound or sum thing like that.

...Seriously, what? People always try to go with the stronger WS to close a SC. It's not about "zomg epeen numbers" on mobs that don't matter, it's called common sense on mobs that DO matter.

Balin's hands down. It has stats that cater to Spinning Slash, and the DMG is higher. Though, I still say Kasha is the best closer, but then again, I had the gear to make it damn strong.

Seriously, I don't even know what you talking about anymore :|

Isn't Perdu Sword better then those swords and Subduer?

If I'm not mistaken, I think he's referring to /thf sucking outside of WS.

Well thats dumb because /thf or not, Spinning Slash > Kasha and if you close with a weaker ws you're dumb.

Eh, Idk. I'd put Perdu in the same range as Balin's.
