Ok, so I'm at the point where I have everything I want (wind, string, singing earring... that's really all there is, lol), and I need to spend millions on minor upgrades. Here are my options.
1. Go for the +4 lvl 5x rings. Yeah, I'm a cheap bastard and still have the +3 lvl 36 rings. I didn't see paying 1 mil for +1 chr as a necessary investment. Especially considering I had to start from scratch at level 56 (I quit ffxi a year ago. I sold all my equip and gave away all my gil).
2. Terra and/or Apollo staff.
3. Buy Vermy for Skillup and goof-off parties. (I don't really want to do this one...lol)
4. Save up for lvl 72 HQ gear. I'll probably get the HQ versions anyway (well... most of them), and probably prior to lvl 72. No real point in saving even more. I can only level on specific days (semi-static) and I don't have enough slots in AH to easily keep gear for a second job yet. That means I have lots of time to make gil, so this option is only here to let you know why it's not really an option. ^^
5. Get back into Goldsmithing. I didn't want to support my gear and GS after I came back. I think I might be able to do it again, but I'd have to take it slow until I get my gardening mules back into full swing. This has the added benefit of not ever having to worry about what to do with any extra gil, as I won't have any... lol.
So what do you think? I'm leaning towards #2 as being the most beneficial, then #1. #5 is cool too, but I think I'd like to wait a little while longer before I go that route.
