gear

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808372/ Not really new news but ya :P The news I see is that David Hayter (voice of snake) is added as the screenplay writer on there.. if that's true, holy crap :P that petition actually worked? I doubt this movie would be out in 2009 like the site claims but ya. I...

I'm just wondering if I have to do Campaign battles in certain areas (Windurst, San d'Oria, Bastok) in order to get the items there or if I can get a high rank in one and spend points on gear in anouther without doing anything.

Any of you enjoy this show as much as I have? Thank god for BBC America. The things Jeremy and Hammond do to poor James is hilarious (even though he brings it on to himself more often than not). I've seen rumours that NBC has bought the rights to an American version... with Adam Corrola as...

Currently my Corsair is level 61. I've been asked to have it ready for endgame and etc so for that reason, I've been looking around wiki and other places to figure out what I could do to make my COR better in terms of damage. While I completely understand that COR wont excell at ranged attacks...

was recently thinking of purchasing a pair of spiked finger gauntlets. just wanted some feedback from people. is the +12 attack substantial? is it noticeable. bear in mind my main is DRG, so i dont get fire bomblet etc, which is why im considering these gloves. ty! but whether you are a DRG or...

Just curious, is AF2 for SMN and SAM worth getting. :D

Ok so heres what I would I want to know, gimme what your gear set up is, macro pieces and all! I would like to know what everyone is rolling with, thanks guys!

Anyone else pick this up? I'm playing through the first game right now and I'll say, it does bring back a lot of good memories. I couldn't resist buying this set when it's only $30.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/426712 hilarious :P not as funny as the first I think but still funny.

I put out more damage with Vassagos though. I parsed in a party with the difference. Plus doing campaign. Also, I put out more damage with AF then I do with Haubergeon and the 2 ACC+ Frouth Division pieces. Could it be the dark element added to me that increases damage?

after 8 hours in 1 day of camping gallant and punisher for fuma and o kotes i recieve both of them with the help of Berden and xandy. off to 75 mnk :P thx guys

I was wondering if +Haste% gear (swift belt, turban, etc) negates or overwrites +Slow% gear. Do they even themselves out? Example of my question: I wear Walahra Turban Haste +5% and Hecatomb mittens Slow+5% Am i now attacking normal speed? Is there an equation for this situation? Someone...

I'm asking this way in advance because my Sam is only 47 ATM lol, but i'm mapping out what I'll need to 75 for Sam. How much of this is good for WS when I get to merit level, or even equippable level. I have some stuff from my Ninja that I can use for WS. Would Haub, Shura Haidate and Shura...

ok so, I go away for a year and I come back and everything is assbackwards! No one seems to do their job in XP party (I am currently lv 58 smn) and what's with the RDM/NIN combo? I'm sorry but that's NEVER a viable subjob for RDM in xp... I don't care if you think you can melee, you're a taru...

I've been playing FFXI for about 4 years now and I've always felt pressured to get the best of the best gear that is available for that job level. Now that I'm starting a new character, I'm wondering if I should really put so much emphasis on gear, and just worry about my "skill"? By skill, I...

Ok, I've tried searching past threads, but it's tough to get to a relevant topic with keywords like "monk gear." Basically, I'm asking for recommendations for monk gear from 73 to 75. I've just come back to the game, and I'm playing somewhat casually, meaning I don't do a lot of endgame. I'm...

Because there is no topic in the section it should be in, here we go :P let's talk about it here (positives ftw). Vamp is coming back :D I knew he didn't die, that crazy hot Romanian!
