As for clearing 100 chapters, does it matter what order they are completed? I'm guessin they can be chapters you already cleared on any difficulty right?

Doesn't matter so long as they are on Normal and above difficulty.

I've done normal and hard all chapters, thats 32. I've done the chapter 7 boss atleast 10 times, so 42. And I've probably done a few other random chapters, so lets say now I should be around 50. I'm gonna start redoing normals to try and get it under 3 hrs.

Once I'm done with that any suggestions on what chapter to spam so I can get to 100 fast? Does the Vestibule count?


PS. I hate chapter 14 so much. The missile shooting thing is so boring. I wish I didn't have to do that everytime for a fun fight with Jeanne/

Ugh yeah, the Afterburner knock off mission is boring and annoying as fuck but I'm grinding through it for the Umbran Tear of Blood that you get from getting platinums in all of those verses.

Yeah it counts. That's the one most people do for it as you can finish it in just over 2 min.

That guy is decent even without it. If you're worried about chapters for the Sai-Fung and Halos for the Platinum Ticket you're better off doin' Chapter 2 as you can run it in 3-4 min. and the last boss gives a good payout. I was doin' Easy mode for the Immortal/Eternal (whatever) Marionette trinket and just with Gaze of Despair and the Kilgore combo he gave me around 700K.

I'd imagine so. You know how these religious Kvltz! are. You down one and another pops up ready to do far worse. I figure this at least; considering Hideki lost his DMC series and then one upped it with this, he is far from done with it.

Even if he doesn't continue with Bayonetta but keeps the same fightin' style I'd be happy. This game has the best combat mechanics of any game out there, hands down. However, I don't want your MadWorld, you can keep that shit.

Well I'm sure there is still someone else calling at least SOME of the shots, I mean at the end there are still angels going about doing their celestial duty (and getting pwned by Bayonetta and Jeanne in the process).

Whats the Eternal Marionette thingy for?

So when you taunt/use the Gaze acc it pisses off the angels, makin them tougher to kill but also gives you more halos in return?

For Gaze you dont have to taunt, its always active. When angles show up they'll do a quick like shout, and turn to a golden color and start attacking faster and more aggressively. Also I know for bosses, not sure about normal mobs cause i didn't really pay attention but their halo like things turn from yellow to red.

And what it does for you is makes with time easier since there are more attacks to dodge, and also gives a bonus to combos which in turns raises your halo count, which is based of combos, as well as your score.

So the Gaze's effect is like you were taunting all of the angels at the same time then, ok cool.

Whats the Eternal Marionette thingy for?

It is an accessory makes your combat one button in Easy and Very Easy. I just wanted it for 100% completion, but to get it you have to beat one of the two modes and then buy it from Rodin. If you're playin' through the two modes you get another version of it that just appears in your third accessory slot, the only one that can be used there, but it isn't a permanent accessory you actually keep, it only stays for the Easy or Very Easy playthrough.

Easy mode isn't bad for Halo farming if you're goin' for 100%. Just wear the Gaze of Despair and take off the auto attack trinket that way you don't get rusty with your skills. Should take you a little over 2 hours.

I just tried the kilgore + bracelet of time trick on chapter 2 boss, holy shit 2 million halos! I could only ever get like 500k off chapter 7 boss, and even at max hes only supposed to do like 1.2mil. I guess this is my new farming chapter.


Question, I read Jeanne is better for climax mode. I unlocked her but see no option to use her. Do I have to use a new file to use her? In which case I'd lose all the weapons and abilities I've collected?

Right. To use her or little zero you have to start a new game from scratch as in no halos, no LPs, nothing.

She gets different weapons and has some different stats and nuances. I don't have her yet but you can Google what the differences are. Based on my Google trip she has an easier time gainin' mass combo points and her dodge is better, making her easier to snag the Pure Plats with.

I need to stop playin' League of Legends and get back to this :/

Man despite her advantages, i don't think shes worth using in climax mode if she starts from scratch :/

Also I unlocked the secret boss, he kicked my ass lol I suck at blocking his attacks >_<
