Oh fuck I hate Grace & Glory (and their tougher brothers) although i've noticed theyre easier to take down with Durgas/Durgas Alt. than with any other weapon, mainly cuz they like to stand together so the explosions that the Durgas triggers tends to bring them both down.
Wow, sounds like the moon bracelets are a bit tougher to handle than just dodging to trigger witch time.....but now I see why they werent working too well, i had paired them with the other bracelets that trigger WT when hit....../facepalm
When fightin' Grace and Glory I use the Moon paired with the Evil Rosary. I don't even bother with WT because of their speed and since you can't use WT on their golden counterparts it goes double. The Durga was initially my first idea but when I faced them in Hard mode it got me hit to often. The Evil Rosary will activate a purple bomb if you dodge properly instead of activating WT and man, it's nasty if you're a proper dodger (the damage is based on how well you dodged, i.e. a perfect would be WT dodge just rapes some face while a normal dodge just does a little).

I haven't really used it much, how does the counter and WT work with the Moon accessory? Do you just attack right after deflecting?
I'll go into a little more detail than Chas.
To use it you press the left stick toward the attack you're lookin' to block. From there it has two abilities depending on your timing. If you use it too soon you'll block the attack but it gives you a short window to start up a combo or get a few hits in. If you use it the instant before you get hit (right when the flower (hit indicator) is full bloom) you'll perform a counter which slices through them and engages a longer than normal WT.
It's really good for Grace and Glory because of their speed. They are so fast it's hard to find a proper openin' for a combo, but if you create the opening you have a better sense of timing when it comes to using it.
The amazing thing about this game is how well thought out the combat system is. Unlike in say Ninja Gaiden, once you begin a combo you're not indebted to finish it RIGHT THEN, you can "pause" it. This works with WT in that if you hold down an attack button before you dodge and trigger WT you can resume your combo instead of ending it. The reason I mention that is because when usin' the Moon your input on the left stick WILL NOT hinder your combo progression despite the animation it makes upon the block. You don't even have to do anything fancy like holding a button, you just have to stay focused.
Now for a topic of my own I'll give you guys a treat.
I found this beast combo that just rips things up. Ever since chapter 9 on my Normal mode run I use this weapon set-up: (A) Shuraba+Durga (electric) (B) Kulshedra+Lt.Col. Kilgore. You can "trick" the Kilgore into presuming the Durga's kick phase of the PPPP>K(spam until weave is over or hold it) combo. You can also just do three punches, up to you, but it works out the same just less damage from the lack of a punch. So you go PPPP>K and either right before or after you see kicks goin' off press LT to change your weapon pallet but don't give up on the combo with your right hand, again, the game is built so that it handles more than one string of inputs for actions.
You'll fire off so many damn rockets it'll wreck shop on your target and possibly around you AND the Wicked Weave still goes off. If you use the Kilgore normally the last kick string will result in a puny 2 rockets with the weave.
Another combo, works especially well in crowded battles or when multiple "big doods" are on the field, is just with my (B) pallet. You double jump in the air then pull mobs up to you with the Kulshedra. When they get to you, you press A twice VERY quickly to double jump on the mob's head and most of the time you'll send some rockets down for the crowd of dbags waitin' on you below (you can keep repeating until everything is dead without ever touching the ground again). Not sure why it triggers an attack when you jump, but it does. You can pull more mobs in the game than you can't so it's a good survival strategy. Just doin' this wont get you Platinum combo grades though, most of the time, so use it accordingly and pair it with other things like pulling a mob up to you then weapon swap to a better combo weapon, i.e. the sword or Durga. You can pull a mob up and do the PPPP>KILGORE!KICK combo as well and spray the ground for a lot of splash damage. Also the whip acts a little differently in the air. If you pull a mob up to you and do PPPP a hand will appear and slap the mob until it turns into a Wicked Weave. So yeah, have fun with what I thought at first to be a useless weapon aside from the "get over here" ability.
