Romper: I can see where you're coming from, I think it's pretty hard to truly pretend that a perspective you act from online isn't a part of who you are ingame. What people level, race they choose, what they take the most fun in are indicative of the kind of person they are even if it's in the smallest sense.

Only example I can think of but back with the Teppo softcore thread some people prefferred catwomen over tall women, right? Indicative of some sort of trait, if you apply that to other aspects it's simple to make a correlation.

I'll use myself as an example. On here and game I can be a enormous dick. We all are to an extent. In real life I'm 50/50 I can either be the enormous dick if I don't like you, or I could be simply telling the truth. Then there is the other side that can be perfectly nice and dare I say pleasant?

I think people tend to choose mithra over Elvaan because the mithra look more womanly, figure wise. Or maybe they all like the idea of a tail being used during sex who knows. Although the ears are kind of a turn off concerning elvaan women.
 
I had the joy of camping this NM multiple times for my thf back in the day, and to be honest, CFHing on it so the CC won't get it is really weak. I have seen that thing depop in front of my eyes a couple times after trying to take it down. In the other thread of "Most Valuable Possession", I labeled Sirocco as one of them because of the NM being a major pain in the ass.

On a final note: What was done was petty and childish...

I should've clarified on that part acting online isn't different from the way you act in real life

No I was making a relation to what Kero said. There are girls out there that like to be treated like shit and they go like their life is normal. So can Rannoch.

by the way, i'm not trying to say that rannoch has no life or wot not.i'm sure his life is full of wondrous days being a prick to his high school friends, college buds, or coworkers or w/e it is.. i'm just betting his life isnt as good as it could be if he acts in real life like he does on the game..... which im sure he does...

I say with 100% certainty that person + anonymity + internet= jackass. ok. and again that's fine. in fact. that's even worse. and duh. you guys know this as well as i do. if you act differently on the game/forums than you do in real life, then that's well kind of pathetic... why change who you are when you log on? can't be tough in real life so guess some people got to be tough here;/

and hey romp, you're right. i don't know rann's real life situation for certain. but i still have an opinion of what it may be like. and honestly he hasn't helped his case any by the way he's acted.

You are completely missing the point. It's situational.


Just because he does one thing like this doesn't mean hes a 100% asshole in anything he does. There is situations i bet on this game where you have been (not so nice) to somebody, where as in your life you would have backed down from the situation.

Once again: Person + anonymity + internet= jackass. I am 100% certain that this is the truth. Yes it can relate to real life, but that doesn't mean it has an effect on them. Like I said some women like to be treated like shit, but they go on about their lives like normal.

I know little of what Rannoch is going through so him being this uber dick is something I can see as a way of him lashing out. I wont say what happened to him, but anyone that is a friend of his probably know why.

It's just not very fair, IMO, to judge someone being an asshole over one occurance also.

The world would be much better without prejudice people, even though it's on an unknowing level.

No Rannoch is a jack ass. I'm not denying that, but to say that someone on the game is being a jackass that doesn't equate to them being a real life jackass. I'm not saying Rannoch isn't but you can't say for certainty if he is in realy life or not.
