Besieged Sucked ass!!

Lol this is the dumbass with the farsighted vision that the new dynamis areas would bring coins down from their ridiculous 30k prices.

Skaw, you're never right. You will continue in your tradition like the idiot you are.

I've seen coins going for 25k recently. It only took time, as well as people getting in to it. Are you honestly expecting instant changes on such large scale things?

I was right about them changing growth rates and how much destroyed mirrors hurt thier progression. This prevented Besiege from happening.

Killing them in the field is preventing Besiege from happening. It will be changed.

MO is two points from federal assistance. But lol listen to me talk like you all have anything to say about this. When I show up, they'll get sent packing. Don't really care how much you whine in shouts. I'll do you the FAVOR of preventing irrelevant besieged events.

What's up with the personal attack on MO's financial situation? What does that have to do with this? Are you honestly that hurting for a defense/topic change?

Points. Now what is measured in points that merits federal assistance? Go ahead, I'll give you all the time you need.

Follow instructions, dumbfucks. You failed your task. They should have never gotten to town.

ut oh, he says im brokezorz....well, your ma's a hoe....touche on irrelevant content of the thread

You're making no sense on your justification on the attack.

Anyway, like I stated. Smashing mirrors was content. However, it hurt the beastment growth rate too much. It was changed.

Intercepting them is content, agreed. However, the devistation it has on the rest of the content is equal to the previous growth rate/smashed mirror detrimental effect. It will be changed as well.

i declare that everything that peregrine says to be the chewbacca defense....it doesnt make sense

Let's see...do anything in your power to prevent a town from suffering a beastmen attack. How little sense that makes.

The entire draw of Besiege is just that. The town being besieged. Without the assault, there is no besiege. It will be changed.

No, you keep piddling around like gimps and besieged will never be what it was supposed to be. You idiots need to get with the program and do you jobs instead of point-getting.

you do the same and stop getting money items and af in dynamis...win onry prz. all other items must be dropped.

In real life defeating an advancing enemy force before it hits the town = win

in this game = fail

there, I win

When are we cockblockin pere again?

Again, Imperial Standing nets you 11 things. Sanction bonuses. Six items, which are only useful in besiege and fighting beastmen. The three beastmen stronghold maps. The last, is currency, which is widely useless outside of quests.

There is no point-getting. You are not touching Yigit with Imperial Standing. You are not touching anything really useful with Imperial Standing. Your logic is bad in this. If you had bothered going through the content, instead of what you just think, you wouldn't be throwing that term around.

but then we wouldnt be able to see Pere look like a total jack ass, and laugh

I hope SE implements or has implemented a besieged that will eventually happen where 400 mobs DO attack and wipe the floor up with us, that'll be fun. Loads of fun, that's what this game is about, remember?

Just to throw my opinion in, I think Besieged will be a lot better in weeks maybe months to come... it wasn't designed for nearly the amount of people who participated, just as the dunes weren't designed for 100 Corsairs, 200 Blue Mages and 150 Puppetmasters (Exaggerated of course). Everyone just rushed to try it out...

As far as the actual event itself happening, besieged is made to be done in the city. It's right on the developer info page, and it's all through the CS's in game. However, the ability to intercept mobs before they get to the city was added in, so, think of this with normal conditions, not 400+ players. Having an alliance intercept some of the mobs to weaken the main attack force might be a good thing if there's only, say, 36 people participating.

But, as I've been reading on the posts here, I don't agree with what whoever did by preemptively trying to defeat the beastmen army. The only thing they wanted was glory and bragging rights, which I can understand, because what big LS wouldn't want bragging rights? Especially when they have their rivals waiting around in the city for the attack to happen...

The point stands though; Besieged (click for definition of the word) is an inner defence of the city, if people want to try it out, people shouldn't ruin it for them. If you want to compare this to dynamis... it's a role reversal. We are defending our city, and they are attacking. But, I don't see beastmen invading the main cities from the dynamis areas, because that's not what the developers intended. This isn't a real life war situation, it's a game. If this was a real life war, I can understand a preemptive attack on their forces, but this isn't... we're playing a game, trying to experience a new event. If you want to develop strategy later, wait till everyone can try it out first, for fun, if not anything else.

Summary: Beastmen want the Astral Candescence. We have it. They come fight us, we kill them, and keep it. If they take it, we go kill them and take it back. You get bonus's for defeating them inside the city, instead of outside. Doing otherwise is like using an exp bonus ring to fight too weak mobs, it's a waste when you can get *something* for it, even if it's a small amount. However a preemptive attack to weaken the forces with a small amount of participating players could be a good idea, but when it's clearly able to be taken in the city with an outragous amount of people participating, and seeing you get bonus points, anyone who argues that point is clearly just trying to defend their rights to glory and bragging rights by killing them before anyone else gets a shot, that or their pride on the FB...

I seriously just had to say after reading all of the posts on this that I totally agree with what Peregrine is saying. I know that it has to be disappointing to wait in the city for the mobs to get there and have others "ruin it" for you, but honestly, I totally understand Peregrine's point on this. Show SE what we're made of, kick the shit out of everything, don't let them get near the city until they give us the actual rush and satisfaction of having the mobs just totally run us into the ground with an actual badass battle where you're hands are shaking at the keyboard because it's just that exciting.

I don't care what you're waiting to see or what exciting thing you want to unlock or how many points you want to get, until that happens, it would feel more like easy street, and there's so much in this game after reaching 75 that is sooo easy street. CoP was awesome because it was a challenge and not many people actually took it up.

I don't want the mobs to cross into the city until they have to work and bleed for it. They can walk over my dead body to get in there and I'll have no mp from curing as many people as I can to keep them out...

That's what I'm waiting for...

Thought i would post here since i was at the 1st one, but wouldn't the mobs come back in bigger numbers and stronger if you stop them from reaching the city?
