Best Concert You Ever Attended

I'm actually rather shocked they're going to hit Calgary on their tour. Freakin red-neck city full of people who pretend to be cowboys 10 days out of the year. I'm on it like a fat kid on a smartie though, the tickets were only $20 Canadian also :D

Celine Dion is Canadian though. And I wouldn't give a pre-chewed piece of gum to see her.

Oops...Accidently hit delete instead of edit

Yeah but we were able to pawn her off on you, Along with The Barenaked Ladies and Shania Twain. I don't know any Canadians that would pay $300 Canadian, let alone American to see Celine Dion. She is 3 1/2 tons of donkey dong. I was shocked to find out when I went to Vegas that her concert's were constantly selling out.

Anyway Wonko, You rock. You're the first Muse fan i've encountered and I give you a bonafied Tarutaru Thumbs up! <(~.~)>d

Awww thanks!
I'm listening to Falling Away With You now. It always chokes me up a little bit.

haha! It's you guys that keep making them millions!! Canadian-loved bands don't share nearly the popularity as Canadian born musicians shipped off to the United States. Look at the Tragically Hip, damn near a religion here and most Americans have never even heard of them! You guys can have all our bad music, lordy knows we get all yours on our radio stations. :)

Slayer in 87, I think it was for the Reign in Blood tour.....sheer madness.
also anytime Dream Theater comes to town, Im left with goosebumps.

I refuse to claim that Celine Dion and Bare Naked Ladies are members of the human race, or even exist. They're just figments of my imagination, spurned into my everyday life onto radiostations across the USA from the engrained trauma of nightmarish thoughts that actual people like them -could- exist.

Yeah, it was a little harsh, but they're not real people anyway. :)

Best concert I attended probably would have to be... Livestock this past year in Zephyr Hills FL, ONLY because Offspring was there, which is my favoritest band in the whole wide world. /nod

Boy, I've been to a lot of good concerts, so hard to pick a favorite. Lets see, saw Marilyn Manson, Hole, and Nine Inch Nails all together back in 93?ish, that was a cool concert. Slutty Courtney Love stage dived and had her dress ripped off, lol.

Also saw Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie together, that was pretty awesome. Though it was cold and wet that night, and we had lawn seats. Blah.

Ooh! First time I saw They Might be Giants was when they were touring with the brass band, very fun. They played "No one knows my plan" and I hopped in the conga line, when it ended I was RIGHT at the foot of the stage, I swear I could have reached up and touched Flansburgh's shoes. I came home with pockets full of confetti that night, heh.

I'd have to say consistently my favorite group to see live is Goldfinger- they always pull out all the stops when performing live. I just wish that they weren't getting so wacky with the vegan stuff, heh. NOONE WILL END MY LOVE AFFAIR WITH MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS!

2 bands I love, and have yet to see live though, are Cake and Thrice. I missed a chance to see Cake for free at the Guinness Oyster Fest in Chicago about 4 years ago, stupid friends getting married that day. ;)

Old School Barenaked Ladies (before they got all famous) weren't bad...

OMG - you saw CAKE?!?!? I looooove them!!! I need to see them in concert, and Weezer, and the Counting Crows.

I saw Ani Difranco and Our Lady Peace about a year ago - both good shows. ANI ROCKSSSSSSSSS!!!! :P Most of the shows I have seen have been local bands. *Has anyone ever seen Keller Williams? He is great too. His shows are full of hippies, it is such a great environment.

 Any woman who can hang with slayer is ok in my book.

So I went and saw ZZ Top last night and got to announce them onto stage. It was the most awesome fucking time. The only problem is I didnt get home til almost 1 am and had to get up for work at 4:30 am so I am dragging ass today. Well worth it IMO. They rocked the outdoor ampitheater and alot of women felt inclined to remove clothes for some reason. Yeah I dig it and it was free for me at least. (radio perks) I was close enough to spit on them from my seat, which I used to stand on at times.

Anyway enough rambling from me,

Mohoso

I didn't see Cake Jender, I'm just complaining about how I could have seen them for free and missed it. :( They're number one on my "Gotta See" list for concerts.

BTW, Cake's new album is coming out first week of October, I know because I asked for it for my b-day. ;)

Nice! I have seen both of them too.
Both shows were awesome.

I had the rare privilege of witnessing Acid Bath prior to the death and split yielding Agents of Oblivion and Goatwhore.
They played at the Milwaukee Metalfest. God I love that.
Got to talk with Sammy about his guitar rig.

Cake rocks!!!

Oh and Pantera at the brawl room, back in the day was a hell of a show. 1 big nasty pit!
