Cake, is good pot smoking music.

Cake, is good to eat after pot smoking.

I always end up listening to Cake when I go through my lengthy car waxing procedure...And a lot of metal. Rabid is often there for that hehe.

Lengthy Car waxing is that what you call it?

I keep it simple, I toke the reefer. LOL

sorry, I must be my biggest fan.

Mo....

Yeah yeah...4 foot bong rips and being the only white member of the blunt squad, blah blah blah...

I really was talking about waxing my car.
It's almost that time again too.
I try to get a last wax in just before the weather hits Chicago.

Which reminds me it's about that time of year again.

^^ Yep.

We'll do it again, bro-ham.
Bring the ride over and I'll provide the wax and the beers.

hrmmm lets see . . .

Bowie was bad ass . . . Assemblage 23 was very good and that was the Defiance CD release shin dig . . . Imperative Reation and System Syn was killer, Icon of Coil, VNV Nation was a damn religious experience, TOOL was dissapointing, Midnight Oil was brilliant . . .

And in the next month . . . KMFDM!! MINISTRY!! THRILL KILL KULT!!!!!!!! Hanzel und Gretyl and Muse

WHEEEEEEE for once the Calgary Music scene doesn't suck pink bits

OMG! The All 4 One concert was the bestest eva!!! :shudder:

I really perfer the more personal feeling concerts. I would have to say The Recipe would have to be where I've had the most fun. Something about rocking out with modern day hippies is pretty cool.

 Any woman who can hang with slayer is ok in my book.

[thank you] I saw 'em all back in the day,
Anthrax (Joey Belladona...thank you!)
Metallica for the "ride the lightning" tour (about 300 people in attendance) Testament, etc, etc.

I even saw The Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Blood,Sugar,Sex,Magic tour, The Chilis had Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam opening for them, both bands were heavily booed the whole time they played !!!! People were screaming "you suck" to Billy Corrigan and laughing very hard at Eddie Vedder..........priceless. ahhhhhhhh the memories :D

And talk about bongrips, I saw cyprus hill for.....cant remember the tour or album (the album that had "sawed off shotgun") people were openly passing joints the size donkey dicks that were thrown from the stage by the band.

*/em goes into a very "wonder years" recollection* It was at that time, that place, that I discovered something much more, and an innocence lost because of it. That was the night I met Cannibis Sativa.

Discuss amongst yourselves........... /wink

I saw The Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Blood,Sugar,Sex,Magic tour as well - and they BLEWWWWWWWWWWW - which was disappointing. Anthony couldn't keep in tune - they must really fix up their sound in the studio...

My best concert I would have to say goes way back. It was the Van Halen "For Unlawful Carnel Knowledge Tour" with Alice in Chains as the opening act in Tinley Park, Illinois. It really rocked.

well....

im not one for popular/mainstream bands or what have you, but easily the best concert ive ever been to was the one night, "dear friends" Final fantasy concert. there were huge screens above the symphony orchestra that would occasionally show video according to what song it was playing (including FF8, FF7, and FF7: advent children. yep, they played a song from the movie :D ) then, right before the end of the concert, Nobuo Uematsu, Yoshitaka Amano, Hironuki Sakaguchi (sp? anyway, creator of the final fantasy series) needless to say, i was shocked, and happy like this :D. they gave speeches w/ translator (and Amano forgot what he was saying had to be translated, so he spoke for 2 or 3 minutes straight at one point. poor translator XD) and afterwards they surprised us with sephiroth's theme at the end. professional programs, and an amazing performance. easily one of the best musical experiences ive ever had in my life.

Wish I could have gone to that concert; that sounds like it was really cool!!

I would have to say the best concert I went to was Godsmack. It was in Houston back in '99-'00 timeframe.... 8)

Um, how about I just list the ONLY concert I've ever been to...

/em quiets the mob, and gets ready to run away when they all laugh.

Prince. This year, I had floor seats, and was about...5 rows from the stage.

It was awesome...he played my favorite songs acoustic, did a couple of songs that weren't even his, but were completely awesome, and his drummer completely tore up the place with a solo...

On the downside, by going to Prince I missed out on Rufus Wainwright, and I also wasn't able to go see Maroon 5/Gavin DeGraw (I was going for Gavin) because my mom didn't like the place it was held at -_-

I tried to buy tickets to that tour. I got shit from all my punk rocker & metalhead friends but fuck 'em, Prince kicks ass. People forget that Prince is one of the best guitar players alive. To bad the show was sold out.

Rasberry Beret is one of my favorites, he played it acousically, just him and his guitar <3

Jesus Murphy Yomi, you're going to make me cry! I envy you so much

My road trip music is 90% Prince :D

We gave 3 pair of Prince tickets away here at the radio station, it was a huge

success!!

Yeah he puts on one of the best concerts ever, and for the guys who don't

want to go because they might be taken as gay-good for you don't go!

...more hot women at Prince than any other concert I've been to except for

the Blues Festival where the Hawaiian tropic girls come out every year.

Yep thats it for me.
