Bill Cower and the "Stealers"

What are you, high or retarded?

Name ONE call against the Steelers that could have made a diffrence in the score.

I can name 2 calls that were garbage that would give the Seahwaks 14 points.

name em.

The touchdown by "big ben" where he didn't actually break the plane
-7 Seahawks

The Pass interfearance on Jackson was bs.
+7 to Seahawks

Go to any sports site not in Pittsburgh, and everyone agrees those were bad calls. Go to ESPN where the polls show that a majority of people think the refs screwed the seahawks.

Now, Seahawks had their oppertunities as well, but these kinda calls kill momentum.

The touchdown didn't have enough evidence to overturn it. they would have scored a FG anyway. -4

The pass interference, I've seen less get called. They scored a FG on the drive +4

Add those up to the final score. 21-4=17 11+4 = 15 Pitt still wins 17-15.

Oh wow.. Seahawks fans. All I have to say is on Sunday I witnessed the greatest travesty short of fixing the world series:

1. DJack's nullified TD: There is more contact on a jumpball but they call a pass interference when the defender doesn't EVEN FUCKING BUDGE the other way.

2. Ben's TD: If you look at the replay, Ben's forearm is parellel to the goal line without crossing the plane. Further, he drags the ball a foot short into the end zone.

3. Holding to nullify Steven's 1ydline reception: John Madden was appalled.

4. Matt Hass' chop block: A legal move when going for the tackle. Yet the damn officials seem to ignore this fact.

No team can overcome this sort of bias. 4 game-changing penalties against the Seahawks; 4 quarters to roll the red carpet. Burn in hell.

and I dont know if anyone has read this article but heres the link:

There is no doubt in my mind Seahawks are a better team.

Damn, get the hell over it, you're worse than a screaming child getting disciplined because your precious Seahawks screwed themselves over but you have nothing better to do than blame the officiating when it went both ways, not just biased towards the Steelers. Steelers were the better team, and they won, get the fuck over it. Mind you Steelers had it a lot worse against the Colts, yet they still won, if the Seahawks were worth a damn, they would have come back and won.

your a fuckn idiot... You coudlnt tell from the replay if the tip of the ball broke the plane or not and it was already ruled a touchdown. You cant overturn a call without CONCLUSIVE evidence meaning you cant overturn it unless you can clearly see without a doubt that the call was wrong.

And thats called pushing off budy... it wasnt a little push either and he did it right in front of ref. You'll get called on that everytime.

Holy shit you're right! I completely forgot how great Seattle was playing, they were just steam rolling Pittsburgh beating them up left and right. Bullshit, if they were that much better of a team, they woulda sealed the deal. The first penalty made it 1 and 20. Then they bullshit 3 plays and kick a field goal. If they were so much better they would have bulldozed into the endzone anyway.

The TD by ben, there wasn't enough CONCLUSIVE evidence to overturn it. You dumbfucks are forgetting that the rules are worded a way as to be very clear. When he landed, his arm WAS on the goal line, and there was no replay that could show it did not cross.

The holding on the 1? If they had called the block on the back on Ben during the INT Seattle might not have even gotten to the 1 on that play, so STFU about that one. I actually missed that play so I can't comment further.

The chop block I agree with you, very bad call. i can see why they would toss the flag initially cause there was a blocker there, but I thought they would pick up the flag. He went after the ball carrier not the blocker which is legal.

Yes, 2 days ago, yet all everyone seems to be doing still is whining. If the Seahawks are worth anything, let's see if they can get to the '07 Super Bowl, and win it this time around, w/o fucking themselves over.

Hm.. instead of a somewhat educated debate I get sarcasm, so i'll just make this my last post regarding this, granted it was my mistake of posting on a flameboard so I appologize.

One point about the TD replay with big ben. In my opinion the replay showed enough evidence that big ben did not cross the goal line, like I said his arm was parrell not extended, and the ball itself landed about a yard shy of the goal, I mean if I can decipher this, why cant the refs?

I forget some other points that were made, just the hahaha bullshit blah blah post.. anyway no doubt seahawks could have come back if they were a MUCH better team (thats a given). I dont know if any of you who dissagree played organized sports thru college, but what you must also realize is when those kinds of calls are made, the kind that are game altering calls a lot of morale is lost and frusteration takes over. They are Pro's and Pro's should not let that effect them, but trust me it does.

A yard away? Thats 3 feet man, there is no way it landed a yard away. His arm landed right by/on the endzone line that had the ball in it. Watch that play again, it wasn't that far away.

The other points that were made, I guess you didn't have an answer to. You did skip over my good points after I made the sarcasm, I understand though, you have nothing to come back with, you are forgiven.

And as you said those kind of plays change the mindset of games. Who is to say if the TD by jackson wasn't called back that Pittsburgh wouldn't have turned it on. Or that the TD by Ben had been called back that they wouldn't have gone for it on the next play and made it. If any of those plays had been called different the WHOLE REST OF THE GAME would have played out differently. So you can't sit there and say that if just one of those plays hadn't been made Seattle would have one, that goes against the point you made yourself.

I think Peter King explained it best while schooling Dan Patrick. DP was ripping the refs on the DJack PI call. PK's point was this:if the players are reversed, say the defender is the one putting his hand out and pushing off, then is it PI? If it is(which it is) then the reverse true and its an OPI. Dan Patrick proceded to STFU. :D Also to say that the defender never even budged tells me you didn't watch this game as close as you should have.

The "phantom holding" call. John Madden's exact words were: "If it's holding, it's no in that shot." They only showed it from one angle. Plus it has been said already, holding could possibly be called on every play.

i think they got a parade for winning the super bowl. so im pretty sure there are people out there that like the Steelers lol.
