Aaleel said:There can't be fame if people don't buy and put out the music. If no one's buying it, it wouldn't stay around.
Fact: More white ppl buy hip-hop and rap records then black ppl. Not talking about % of the population, but just sheer, gross number.
Fact: The great majority of rap labels are only subsidiary companies of larger organizations like Time Warner is over Death Row. If it's selling why would they change. Don't blame the artists alone, blame the buyers, and companies getting rich of them too. They have far more control over what gets put out.

Culture is different. It just so happens that a lot of people that are the same race have the same cultural background.
If you are going to stereotype people, do it by culture.
Culture including the Financial/Moral/Educational background of your parents. Cultures are passed down through the generations by parents. That's why it seems like it's related to a persons race.
A black guy is not a ******. A poor uneducated person with low moral standards is a ******.
Financial background enters into this the least in my opinion. However sometimes one is the cause of the other. Perhaps you are poor because you are uneducated, perhaps you are uneducated because you are poor. (the "You" in this paragraph is generic, I'm not tryin to call anyone out here)
Reguardless, my point is this: You can't judge a person from what they look like. I agree with the original poster that saying "Szechuan Chicken" instead of "Thanks" wasn't the proper way to act. However, coming here and flaming this guy that is described only as "A black Guy" is more racist the the event that spawned the 12 pages of filth you see now.
What the black guy did was no different than saying "Pepperoni Pizza" to a pizza delivery guy. For all you know, the black guy could have ordered some Szechuan Chicken and wanted to know if that was it.
Aaleel said:Actually I interned at Sony Music while I was in college, and believe if a prodcut is being sold, demographics are being kept on it, music is no different.
And no you proved my point, non blacks complain so much about rap and hip hop being so bad, but they're the ones keeping it in business. The ones distributing it, and the ones making the most money off it.

I like in a heavily redneck area and I'd have to say that its atleast 50% here

~5-6 black people per school,
I would say the Indian population is actually above the white population as well.
The Wall Street Journal actually wrote an article about the population in my area, stating how whites make up the minority to a great extent, and are actually being pushed out of town by Asian markets and businesses all the time.

Everlasting said:I'm used to putting up with rude white people. If I lived in an are where I was around and interacted with a lot of Asians and there would be rude ones among them so maybe I would start to view it as Asians being rude, not other people being rude.
