Nice, this is a little off topic, but it amusses me so much I want to share. I was pretty good friends with this 1 guy in high school who was the product of a black mom and white dad. Somehow this produced a 6'5" white kid with freckles, and a giant red afro of sorts. He had a natural talent for tap dancing [beyond exceptional] and would constantly pretend-speak ebonics. It was always one of the most amazing things, to be able to see what a black guy would look like with white skin, freckles, and red hair looked like. Deffinately one of the nicest guys I knew, and it was always fun meeting the rest of his family and seeing how much of a "Black Sheep" he was.

Note: He was not albino, he had full pigment, just happened to be white, and his sister was black. Same parents.

Agreed, there's racist people of all spectrums of the demographic, however they all share one thing in common, they're all tossers. At the end of the day we are all human beings.

There are more black people to be known as ignorant, than the latter.

Hence : Black people are ignorant.

There are more blacks and hispanics in jail.

Hence : Blacks and hispanics are considered the worse criminals.

Even tho, you all know it's not true, there are more white people out there who commit crimes than blacks and hispanics, it's just where they put the cops, is where it counts. =\.

Eg. Asians are smart because the little that you see are usually higher ranked in schools. BS. If asians were so smart, why do most of them make a career in food service?

People just don't look at the whole picture.

There are also a lot more white people :P. I think in Britian blacks commit 20% of crime but are about 5-10% of the population. Although i don't agree with that at all. The only crime over here I can safely say is black dominated is gun crime. Even then gun crime isn't that high over here. Meh we are all people at the end of the day. What does it matter what colour/religion we are?

I find that black women tend to be racist about inter-racial couples. My friend is married to a black man and he gets comments all the time from black women how he is a disgrace to black ppl. Her parents are ok with her being married to a black person but his mother and sister look down on him for marrying her. I have heard the same line of thinking from other black women at work, they have to keep their race pure.


Also,

An anti-immigrant bill was passed in GA this week and one of our Black Representatives made the comment, "The last time I checked, America was the land of English not Spanish." I might be reading into it too much but I find that to be a racist comment. So lets just kick out all the Mexicans. My husband works in a production warehouse where there are at least 30+ workers there that are from Africa. If he is so desperate in trying to keep our nation pure then he best not forget to grab them too.
 
I jumped into the conversation pretty late, but based on the last post I have to agree that sometimes people are pretty judgemental regarding dating out of ones own culture.

Some people can be literally racist, or they are just not open-minded to see that there is nothing wrong with dating out of the culture.

You'd be surprised the experiences one can get for jumping out of their own cultural barrier.
