Nevermind that in 2001 a Base Set 1 Charizard was worth $750.00, while a Blastoise was worth maybe $50.00.

It's funny because Blastoise was the most broken pokemon in the entire base set and is still way overpowered in Unlimited play. Eh.

You can tell it's probably staged anyway, he's thumbing through the "pack" and some of the cards are upside down.

I just looked at my card this morning and I don't get how it's broken. imo Charizard seems more broken lol.

Granted that given the right conditions, the Blastoise card could one-shot Charizard w/Hydro Pump :o
