the impression i'm getting from the movie opening is so so with a inclination twoards above average but like mistra said best

the After Dark opening was better
 
there was a new zanpaktou in there...it looks like ikakkus bankai sorta

Bleh, Byakua better have a damn good reason to be part of the problem again besides upholding this prestigious law he supposedly defines. I was beginning to think he'd eventually come to terms with how things change. Then again, I may be readin' to much into the OP.

What do you guys think?

The people who subbed 168 made a mention in the OP how the small girl, the new one, resembled Hitsuguya. I wonder if that's just a coincidence. She looks just like him in my opinion.

I can't say i'm really looking forward to these fillers. The Bounto arc I didn't mind too much but after reading the manga there's just too much awesomeness after Grimmjow to throw in a filler :(
 
I know someone that will die because of being left all alone seriously injured for a whole filler arc after an Espada fight.

How are they planning to fix that? <.<;
 
Theyre basically like "Hey were finally actually getting to the good part, but well screw you." I mean I don't read the manga so I dont mind the fillers, but the whole 'hey were in the middle of a story but WAIT STOP, now were gonna go do this completely unrelated story just because' does kinda piss me off. It wasn't even a good stopping point. Plus I want to see adult (if you will) nel, and see her own some bitches.

didn't really think of it until you mentioned it, personally i'm for the filler because the previous was pretty good to me.

I'd kinda like to see more of byakuya or the other captains that don't fight much, we only see zaraki and hitsuguya hog the panels=/ Granted he fought an espada it wasn't much of a match for him lol.
 
Is it just me, or does the guy with the purple glasses (Kifune Makuto) following the new captain in the beginning resemble a certain Espada?

I'm guessing this filler is just introducing the new captains, something the manga hasn't done.

Filler starting off terribad.

A bad Ricky and Lucy moment between Hitsugaya and Matsumoto, Kira becoming more gay as the episode goes on, and Kenpachi appearance, but no one exploding.
 
why, does the new captain Shuusuke, have a surname that sounds sorta like Aizen Sousuke's and why the heck does he have one release zanpaktou and one sealed? and that third seat guy is so the doppleganger of that espada.

Raider what you said about it being put in at a bad time...your right, but i don't see where the right time would have been to be very honest...

You know in the manga, when the remaining espada leave for karukura and Ulquiorra re-appears, i think that would have been a good time, but would that also be cutting it too close to the manga? They could always pull a naruto...
 
While I'm disappointed to see them pause, hopefully just a pause, the HM arc I did enjoy the new episode and I think the fillers will be good fun. To me, it's always nice to go back to Soul Society. However, I wonder how they're plannin' to divert so much from the manga and yet make sense of everything in the manga/story at the same time. Seein' as after the Grimmjaw fight a huge amount of events took place that are, for now, bein' dismissed or put on hold, either of which are not good for the HM arc and the overall plot. I just don't know how they'll route it back. It's not like Aizen and his goon platoon said "oh my, to big of a welcome party here let's get back." There really is no way they (anime writers) could have "bought time" on his (Aizen) parade rather than to just say, "Oh, it hasn't happened yet." I guess the anime is really goin' to start debatin' the manga pretty hard from here on out...
 
Will there be 103 more "Turning back the Pendulum" episodes? lol
 
They released Turning Back The Pendulum 4 early this week or late last week, I forgot. I didn't see any discussion about it here, did you miss it?
 
No. But considering the episodes are called "-104", does that mean there will be 108 total, or 8 episodes ending with -100?
 
I have no idea how far they're takin' it. Where are you gettin' that idea from? I'm not debatin' you on it, just curious. I'm kind of ignorant as to how far and how long they'll drag this out, in the manga.
 
Well, considering the first one was -108, and they've went -107 > -106 > -105 > -104, and it doesn't seem like the arc would end in 4 episodes, I'd guess it counts down to 0?

Although I guess they could spread it out, or cut it off whenever. -108 just seems like a very odd number to start at, and why count down from -108 if they were going to cut it off at, say, 90?
