As one small addition I meant for that last post.. and didn't get it on there:

Between you and Firestreak on who (at least my own opinion) that I'd like more:

I have never met either of you in-game.. however due to your rampant ignorant posts here I'd have to say it's Firestreak.. about the only negative to him in my book is he leans too far to the right for my political tastes.. but for the most part he's not acting like a goddamn moron to make his point.

NICE ^^ I might not be all that, but i am smarter then Peregrine, i atleast research what i'm arguing and i dont pull lies out my ass the prove a point that doesn't need the be made. speaking of Peregrine where is he, havnen't seen him try and defend himself since everyone started smacking down on him :p

I'm actually a very moderate conservative in real life but some of the far out leftists on this board tend to get me riled up. On social issues I tend to lean liberal like for example gay rights, legalization of drugs such as marijuana. I'm strongly for environmental protection and pushing for alternate fuel sources. And I'm currently undecided and deeply conflicted on the issue of abortion.

In reality if anything I'd consider myself a Libertarian because I want the smallest government as possible.

As for the war... obviously, nobody is "for war." It's a horrible thing to be in and every death is sad, but I am patrotic and quite frankly, I don't care who America attacks and for what cause, I love my country and I will support blindly to the end. In my opinion it's for the voters to elect people to represent them appropriately in terms of declaring a war. Once war is upon us, the troops deserve our unwavering and unquestioned support. A year later, when we're already in the thick of fighting, is not the time to change our mind and hate on them.

Cool, I can respect that. I lean slightly to the left myself, I can't help it. Just my experience in my life up to this point under the different presidents I've always done better under a democratic president. /shrug

I'm not a far out leftist I believe in doing what is good for our country, alternate fuel is one thing that we should be focused on above all else at this point.. petroleum products wreck the environment, and at this point our wallets in some areas. The fuel stations where I live got up to 3.39 for a gallon of gas which is quite excessive when you are supporting a family on a low-income whilst being too proud to use things like welfare and foodstamps to make it if you don't have to. :)

I would tend to agree with every bit of this. The only problem I have with the war side of things is we shouldn't have done anything to any other country until they had Bin Laden's head impaled on a pike on Pennsylvania Ave. I support our soldiers but so far our current president doesn't impress me in the slightest. Under this government there are new agencies being created regularly, and those even with all their funds are not performing their tasks adequately. But I don't wanna turn this into a political thread we have enough of those, so i'll stop here.

Bajaratt:

I guess you went to doctor school because you didn't have the balls or the capability to be a lawyer. You can't argue for shit, because your method seems to be putting your fingers in your ears and screaming out "you're all idiots and are jealous of things that have no realevence to what we're talking about" so that you can't hear us proving how full of shit you really are.

Thank you for bringing this up. This is actually why I find Peregrine so amusing, he's such a crappy and predictable debater. Every post (after the first one which usually has some thought put into it) will fall into one of 4 categories:

1. Repeat what he already said previously.
2. Change the subject to divert attention.
3. Insult the person who disagreed with him.
4. Brag about himself (in game or RL) and claim an automatic trump based upon some supposed superiority (which I have yet to see him display).

Sometimes he'll combine a few of the above tactics. Sometimes he has to take a moment to suck up to a friend that he insulted in a carte blanc fashion a few posts earlier, but it's pretty much the same old shit. I have a perverse sense of humor, so I like to see which one he'll pick. "Whoo-hoo, a #4 again! I win the bet!"

To stem off the predictable retorts he'll make unless I counter them first:
A. Tactic #1 is not OK because you supposedly "proved your point earlier," if it failed to convince at repetition #12, it's still unconvincing at repetition # 32.
B. I don't care what grades you got in what debating courses from HS or college. You never learned that the purpose of debate is to persuade, or you never gained that ability. When you insult your audience in the first paragraph, you lose. Hell, he hasn't even been able to convince a significant number of people that he's intelligent.
C. "I'm not here to debate because of [lame excuse here]." Bullshit. If you weren't here to debate, you'd post once and shut the fuck up afterwards.

I especially loved when Alanon used the Point-Counter Point tactic, which is considered by many to be the most thought-provoking and time consuming (in preparation) agrument, and the ass-wipe called him simple for using so many quotes, lol.

On a side note, despite the lack of evidence, I do believe that Peregrine is a medical student. Of course, I also firmly believe that he has his Letter of Acceptance framed above his bed so he can masturbate to it every night.

Finally, I'm a big fan of the movie The Princess Bride, and I have a request to make. I'd really appreciate it if Peregrine would make a one word post for me before this is all over:

"Inconceivable!"

Osse, a very fresh perspective in terms of observatory humor.

On a more base level I think it's funny that every couple of weeks peregrine comes to ram his head into a brick wall here at QCDN. He willingly and repeatedly thrusts himself into a community where no one that I can see likes him in the least.

Basically he's just entertainment.

Ah, but you did not know I am not left-handed!

So far, I really like the new rule changes.

Peregrine you're doing the same thing that you've accused BLMs of doing by acting like you're so high and mighty beyond the little ppl

let's compare

Game/Life
BLM = Doctorate
other = other

now substitute everything you've said about what BLMs do in this game with what you are doing now.

bragging about the fact you are above us for because you're studying to become a doctor is being in the end hypocritical to your own beliefs

Do I believe BLM needs to be nerfed? yeah Do I need to be an ass to prove a point? no

i don't really feel like reading this thread and i bet this question has been asked b4. why is UK College of Medicine in the sig in the first place?

He feels the need to have his existence validated by an internet community he claims to be at large superior to.

Because Peregrine feels the need to brag about something, but since he's got nothing from ingame, he wants to try to brag about his real life.

Everytime peregrine talks about his real life I imagine how sad it must be to have to brag to an internet forum.

I mean really man - get a life.

i kinda figured that's what everyone would say. i would love to hear peregrine's reasoning though. please enlighten me ^^

I read like, the first few pages of this response...

I say, NERF BLM! Why, oh why would a career BLM want BLM to be nerfed?

Lots of reasons! ;-D

Less people playing the job I play, meaning those that are really good will adjust to whatever "nerf" and remain strong. I believe this same thing sorted out the RNG that actually are decent and those who weren't really worth a crap... People quit the job and freaked out, eventually picked up MNK, and now MNK gear price is very much inflated over what it used to be.

I think it would be nice to have some more dimesions added to make the job more challenging, somehow.

That said... answering the OP, if he still cares... lol

Any GOOD player of any job can adjust what he's doing to fit his party structure. BLM can help heal, enfeeble, lay down massive damage when the melee's slacking in order to hit experience chains, enhance melee damage (through either Choke on low eva mobs or Frost on high eva low def mobs), make debuffs land easier (Shock for white magic debuffs, such as paralyze, slow, Burn for Blind, Gravity, all black magic damage spells)... BLMs are very versatile. It would be nice to see SE come up with a new dimesion to 'em, though.

Oh look, it's the little black mage who could in dynamis until half the blms in the team voted to get rid of you because no one really liked you. I let you leave on your own accord, because to actually tell someone they can't come back...well at least you took the hint.

i'll have it noted for the record the BLMS voted to give me "the benefit of the doubt" against your obvious wishes, personally, i found dynamis with you at the helm was just outright terrible, the death toll was inexcuseable and there are no doubts it was your pulling. the melees were having trouble with the mobs.. peregrine solution... pull more! you have to have at least 7 extra mobs waiting for when they finish one!
