BLMs: Yigit gear worth the hassle?

Just looking for some opinions on this. Outside of looking cool walking around town, I don't see much use in getting this set other than the hMP. Also, as it is my inventory is normally at around 45/60 as a black mage. I'll list my gear incase any of you guys wanna make some comparisons.

Head: Wizard's Petasos +1
Body: Igqira Weskit
Hands: Zenith mitts
Legs: Errant Slops
Feet: Rostrum pumps

Head, body, and legs are swapped in and out when casting enfeebling or dark magic, but that's the norm. Thanks =D
 
From what I remember the Yigit Feet are about as good as you can get for pure damage output, but I think the rest is just Hmp, as far as blm is concerned.
 
It's the ultime healing set. Shoes are the only piece I wear for dd. For +hmp it cannot be beat.
 
yeah, the hMP owns, but I could be making money or doing salvage instead of saving for the set...think I'm gonna pass on it for the time being. Thanks guys ^^
 
use your points for salvage!

actually I don't think I'll bother with blm salvage gear unless salvage is fun, do what you want.

I have yigit head and would like to get feet but been to busy/lazy to get.
 
I'm 3/5 on my Yigit set, almost halfway to Yigit body. Gonna use this set a bit for BLU, BLM, and RDM when I get blm and blu high enough for it. Other than that, guess it is pretty much better for healing.
 
Feet, legs and head are good, although I am aiming to get Yigit Body aswell, for nuking on my lolRDM (till I get morrigan's body piece, or should I say 'if')

Same goes for lamia no.13 if people understand their role....that doesn't always happen. Then again some people forget to go invisible for the bombs in excavation. Either way head and feet should be easy to farm. Sadly I can't simply farm anything at the moment since I'm in an assault/salvage shell. That plus I want to get some damn sergeant missions done.
 
I did pretty much every piece of yigit in a blm/blm/rdm static. It's really not that hard, fyi. Excavation and Lamia 13 are easy, but so are the rest. It just takes time. A LOT of time.

Something I don't have - especially now that I'm going off to school. God help me :shok:
 
They nerfed excavation duty for blms, now for it to be easy to manaburn you need 150+ INT on your elemental enfeebles (5/tick instead of 4/tick on each of the 3 is huge) and 300+ dark magic for 8/tick instead of 7/tick on Bio II.
