Looking for a good BLU guide, ranging from equipment to how to obtain the spells.

Take those guides with a grain of salt. There's some decent information in there, but also some things that I find to be pretty inaccurate.
For one, calling Dissector 'Classic idea end-game weapon' over Perdu Hanger/Ifrit's Blade/Demon Slayer is pretty funny. Also, it makes no differentiation between equip for TPing, and equip for spells.
For example: W.Turban is great for TPing, but they rank Morrigan's Coronal as 'Best BLU head equip.' Great for spells/WS, but I'd TP in the w.turban over that any day.
My recommendation: Take a hard look at the job and see what you can figure out for yourself. When you've got a question that you can't figure out, find a BLU75 who you feel is competent, and ask them.
