Blue Mage Compilation(Setups, Gear, Etc.)

let me know how the store tp stuff goes, I think i'm clear to start using rajas for tping in since my acc is normally ~90 with sole/bream sushi.

Battery Charge is the sex, like really it's fucking amazing when SE designed this spell they knew how to distrubute the mp ticks 4mp tick is 80mp a min by itself and it lasts 2 and a half mins which is very reasonable any longer would make it pretty overpowered. But the nice thing about this spell is that maybe it opens options for tping since normally we melee in mirage jubbah/morrigan's for mp regain pending situation and mp used it may be possible to switch to a non refresh piece and take advantage of that. Dont get me wrong 6mptick and occasional 7 under latent is amazing but when you have more mp than you need to deal with then you have to find ways to get rid of it.

edit: I forgot that I wasnt using this vs aspirable mobs, so there could be a lot more bang for your buck here...

I tried this when i got 79 with trying to keep up triumphant roar(1min duration 31mp) it wasnt too bad but i was still losing mp(slightly took awhile), using big 3 and keeping up my new haste(which is without saying another awesome spell due to effect/duration ratio).

Sanguine Blade is awesome helps on one of the things that blue has to kind of give up an arm and leg for: magic damage and on stuff thats very high level and SB and VB are hitting low Sanguine will trump it. Tested that vs pochypodiums when I was 77-78ish of course as you get higher vorpal starts to win over. The teal set will be very good for boosting Sanguine's damage modified by Str, Int, Mnd, Mab.

Thats about all I think I have for now, I'll be working on capping rdm now

I've played around with the numbers a bit, and it looks pretty good on paper. With Machaera (STP+9) and Khanda (OAThrice), with Double Attack and Store TP traits set and Rajas/Brutal/W.Tathlum, one averages 2.75 hits per round at 95% ACC, which leads to 5.1 rounds to 100% TP, and less than 5 rounds when starting with initial TP from the previous WS. Edit: This assumes no Suppa, as I don't have one.

Looks like it'll be pretty nice on mobs where one's Vorpal Blades can do significant damage. I've just begun working on the DEX/ACC sword for situations where that isn't the case.

I hadn't really considered switching out the Mirage Jubbah for something else. I'll have to take a closer look at my MP consumption; maybe I'll switch it out for the ol' Corazza in some scenarios. Getting in an extra 5 ACC when I'm close to cap won't hurt, and Triple Attack is always a good thing, even if it doesn't activate much.

I've had trouble breaking the low 500's without using Memento Mori or the like. I guess it's fairly reasonable, considering the HP-drain aspect of it. I went out to S.Gusta the other day as BLU/RDM; with Memnto Mori and boosted INT/MND with gear and spells, I was getting in the mid 900's on lv0 mobs. I was a little disappointed frankly, but much more than that would've been more than I should expect. It's still a handy tool.
