It's not that we don't care about respect, it's just that we don't see how that will effect our main goal, to have fun.

I think what the problem that is being pointed out is that sure you may be having fun but you must understand any privilege is predicated on its respect of others exact same privilege, its reciprocal if you will, the moment your fun overshadows respect it takes it to far. Im just trying to clarify, im not going to take sides, it seems to me that people point out an awful lot of instances where BoL members put their ends before their means.

Proof enough that you can claim the entire NA player base is inferior to JPs, say over half the jobs in the game are worthless, and have next to no working knowledge about the game in general, and still have a place in BoL because you're a demanded job.

1. Who ever said I didn't like BOL or hated them? All I said was how hell would freeze over before I would ever consider being a member of BOL.

2. As for looking for a fight. I did the same as everyone else on this thread, looked at the facts of this situation and said my 2 gil. I am looking for a fight? Yet it is your LS who tried to attack me and put me down. Was rather funny since you didn't have any way of doing so. In fact the way of how I would never be a member of BOL was brought up by one of your lame attempts to put me down.

The one thing that watch said and I can agree with is how being a leader isn't easy. Not only do you have the role of trying to organize your people, set out clear goals of what you are doing, but also deal with each LS members wants and needs. So to add on to that the stress of running around trying to make sure that every single person in game likes all your members and respects your LS, is not only impossible but a huge burden.

In what ever I am doing in game I normally find myself in some form of leadership, weither it be in a party, mission, quest, rank, promy, or in sky. So I can understand and relate to your point. However as a leader I would stop and think about the fact of why it is so many people seem to have problems with my LS. Granted that not every single time it was 100% BOL's fault for whatever situation occured, but still I would wonder why my LS continues to have such situations in the first place.

Maybe there is something that can be done to clean up your image so to speek, and maybe not. Maybe you would want to clean up your image, maybe not. Almost everyone plays this game to have fun, that is why SE has setup rules and limits of how and when peoples "Fun" can overstep the "fun" of others. It is clear that several people have had problems with BOL when it comes to this, IE: the reason they are often flamed, when other people or LS's in a similar situation wouldn't be.

I agree that many people watch BOL and wait for them to make one wrong move so they can have even more reason to dislike BOL as a whole. Someone in a leadership role might want to think about just why that is. I doubt that every person who does this does it only because they hate your LS for no good reason and will always feel that way.

If you are trying to clean up your image, I don't see how talking trash and insulting people who happen to disagree with your point of view is a way to help out your cause. Which leads me to doubt you are trying to do so.

I have to say that personally in game BOL has never done anything to me in a bad or negative way, which is why I laugh when you say how I hate BOL. Then again I tend to not associate with members of BOL and never have been in a situation where they would actually be able to do anything to me. I do know several members of BOL and have had experiances in game with them, as well as know several people in game who have had a bad or negative experiance with BOL.

Watch as for your comment about talking to you in game. Why would I? As it is I barely have enough time to do all the things I do in any given day. Let alone talk to and keep in touch with all the people I actually like and enjoy talking to. To add to that I haven't been online in a few weeks and I wont be online for a short while longer, which is why I decided to stop online here and check the boards to keep current and upto date with whats going on in game. Even if I was online atm I still see no reason to talk to you or any member of BOL I don't already know. It has nothing to do with if I think I am better then you or not, I simply noramlly am too busy to be involved with things of this nature. Which is the reason why you wouldn't know me and why you have no actual way to insult me.

Due to the fact I am away from the game and I know the people who were involved in this situation, I added my 2 gil. If you don't like it, too bad. The worst thing anyone could ever say about me is that I am a bitch or I was mean to them. Oh well. To quote a cool msg I once saw...

On the other hand too many people say "it's just a game" which is a copout. Soccer is just a game, yet people get killed over simple mistakes. Look at all the die hard hockey, baseball, football, and basketball fans. Those are all just a game too.

We all pay money to play this game, people make online "friends" or alliances with certain people. We all care about everyone playing by the rules and not cheating in any game. Anyone who plays any game does in fact take things personal at times, while playing whichever game they are playing.

So I just personally feel people who say it's just a game are those same people who run around and act stupid trying to ruin others in game fun. It's just a lame excuse that people use to justify their actions.

You call it a flame when I said that BOL welcomes behaviors like stealing claims and MPK'n people, which I find rather funny since BOL has done both of these things before. It's kind of hard to say your LS doesn't condone that behavior when your members do such things with no repremand from the leadership. Which is why I don't see it as "casting" any stones but rather talking about a fact.

I also never said it was pathetic, I said it was funny to me how your only defense against logical thoughts is to try and insult me, talk about my gear, or try to say I am mad only because I wasn't able to be BOL when I never have and never would even consider the thought of becoming a member of BOL.

When should you care? You can answer that yourself, since it was your LS who brought it up in the first place. If you didn't care you wouldn't have even brought it up.

If I ever used the words BOL is pathetic for trying to insult me, then I used the wrong words to get across my point. Which is how it is pathetic that you try to insult me yet have no actual way of doing so. Please feel free to keep trying though since it is rather funny.

Also people just so happen to spend time in real life to play this game, same as they do in watching the "game" on T.V or paying money to go see it live. Hell I have even seen some posts on alla where people have actually started dating in RL through this game. Granted that's not for me and I find it even more funny, but hey it's their life. For people who truely don't care because "it's just a game", they wouldn't be spending 15$+ a month to try and get a reaction out of people. Further more they wouldn't care what myself or anyone has to say or thinks for that matter. It is clear that you missed the point of that post.

Maybe a logical well thoughtout argument is just too much for you to comprehend. In the end, unlike you I honestly don't care. Not because "it's just a game", but rather because I just don't care to put the effort into giving a crap what you think or say. Your just words on a screen. Although I do like a good argument and an exchange of ideas and opinions, once I return to playing your purpose is no longer needed. In the mean time continue to make me laugh, this is almost as good as watching the daily show.
