This isn't a complaint, really, as the vast majority of these wonderful things have been filtered by the CAPTCHAs, or at least my imagination would lead me to believe... ;D
Is it at all possible to automate a delete post/ban based on the contents of a post? Every single spam post I have ever seen on QCDN has had one single thing in common: :rtfm:
Post icons. Nobody uses them, save for the poll one which is automatic.
I'd been kicking around the idea for a bit, but never brought it up until now. Set up a script or something similar to automatically delete any post using the message icons, and ban the user who posted it.
This has the small drawback of essentially disabling the icons, but they're stupid anyway, and nobody uses them. Make an announcement, put it in the rules, and if anyone gets banned for it... well, too bad, to be honest, they should read the rules/announcements.
Essentially though, such a setup should eliminate the rest of the bots altogether, though I don't know if this is easily doable. Either way, it's something to think about if the code for it exists or can be converted from another similar script.
