BRD - A very complex job. Why play it if you can't?

All right mates, this is my first post here. Not because there never was something for me to flame, but rather because this calls for a flame.

~10mins ago I got a replacement and disbanded my pt due to the ABSOLUTE incompetence of our BRD. If you're level 72, you should be mastering or very close to mastering your job. If that's not the case, you should at least know the principles behind it.

BRD is all about positioning and organizing/keeping track of his songs (this include debuffs). I'm not a BRD and I know that.

If you can't keep your 2 mages and your PLD tank refreshed because you can't or won't bother to position yourself even though THE WHOLE PT bothered to get into song position

DD Mage

then quite frankly, go back to level 1 and start it all over again, until you get your f*cking job right.

Even worse, if you fail to do your job because you rather melee with your pathetic dagger at Demons who's TP moves are abominable, then don't even bother getting back to level 1. QUIT.

I'm not the kind of guy who points you out in a crowd for being shitty. But seriously, I asked for it politely in pt 3x, even DDs asked for it. And thus, for wasting my gilz on food, my time, my oils and powders, my xp band, you MIPHELIA, need learn your job all over again. Forget about lvl 72 right now, you proved you can't handle a simple task.

Goddamn my fury with your gimped ass half-skills as BRD.

With the distance plugin available through the windower, ballading the tank is easier than ever (although I went 1 to 70 without it). Really no excuse for lazy brds.

Yeah, I love that distance plugin, great for any job.
 
Since Daveman got it, mind jotting down where the BRD should pos himself to sing Ballad for Tank and Mages and Minuets for melees? Maybe THEN Miphelia would know how to do this.

I use a horn for ballad to lessen the range on it, but with horns you have a range of 10 units using the distance plugin. Single target songs seem to have more range than the AoE spells, and I believe their range is 20.5 like most spells.

messed up the first a little, dd's should be closer to the mob and not to the tank.

By 72 a bard should have no trouble whatsoever eyeballing who his spells are going to land on and when. Have not played with the distance mod but damn i could eyeball it on my 47brd.

He had the drawing right ele, you want the tank next to the mages so he can get ballad too.
 
Why would you find a replacement for yourself if the pt is so bad you want to leave? I *hate* when people invite me as a replacement to a party because it's bad and they want out of it... then I get to enjoy the super crappy party.
 
I got a NIN to replace me, that way, gimped-ass lazy-bitch BRD wouldn't have to worry about Refreshing the tank. Just play her 1 single f*cking song wherever she'd like.

I only played bard to 41, but I learned to eyeball where ballad was going to land sometime between level 25 and 26. I mean come on now, all a bard does is sing songs, over and over and over and OVER . . . You'd think that after 70+ levels of playing a frigging harp and flute you'd know how to do it right.
