Since I'm probably on your blist, and you wouldn't answer my questions after why the fuck you bringing a quadav BLM to the Campaign Arbiter, here goes.

Preamble:

Yes. I was on RDM/BRD. Spamming songs. While I'm at the computer. With macros. 3 songs at a time. No windower macros no nothing. It's not game breaking, I'm not fucking with your 12.95, and that anon person you claim was a lolbot? Got right up after I raised him.

Fuck you and your retarded high and mighty little assumptions and fucking video game morals for chrissake. I've done campaign on nearly every job, 75s, 60s 50s probly not any 40s. Anyway, I've found through experience that songs and turning in tags gives best rewards. Am I hurting you? No.

I ask you why you think it's so cool to MPK /brd, and you can;t come up with one non-alla-fucktard response. Guys I shit you not, he honestly said to stop leeching off my parents. Which is right up there with WHAT ARE YOU 12, and when I accused him of being one of those IT'S MY 12.95 I'LL PLAY HOW I WANT fags he told me to stop being butthurt.

Still no logic as to why he is doing this.

Holy coolguy justice batman, I think we have on original crusader who knows a) why he is doing something and b) what the fuck it is wrong that the people he is doing it to are doing.



look. if you want to MPK people, and people who are /brd in campaign, fine but do it to the known offenders who sit there singing 15 songs after the battle ends -- fucking ADUR. And read the updated POL notes, it doesn't say immediate banning anymore, it says suspicious activity after campaign battle has ended. Get off your fucking high horse because it has AIDS now and it's headed off a cliff with all the other fucking lemmings
 
While it doesn't really affect anyone's game play, I think people are just kind of pissed off that players who are /BRD spam songs to get exp but don't help out to the cause. If more people actually fought the mobs in campaign for exp, I'm sure we wouldn't be over run with Beastman Territories or have losing battles.

You might think its an okay and prefect method to get exp, but in reality you aren't really doing anything for it, and you aren't helping out the cause =/
 
But why exactly does it matter if Beastmen hold the Territories?

You're there, but yet, you're a complete waste of space. Until SE makes it so worthless /BRDs cannot obtain gainful XP from sitting on their asses, I'm all for them being MPKed.
 
k this is what I don't get. Do you guys cry during cutscenes? Like when that gobbie died? Do you REEEEEEALLY want to win this war (which by the way doesnt mean shit until like 4 hours before conquest), are you guys seriously video-game-nation(bastok sandy etc) nationalists?

You gotta be kidding me lol. You guys are way too gung-ho. Think for a moment and ask how me or the rest of 'the choir' are hurting you. I know they're gonna break it, but you know what? I think it's a mistake, I think it's great for the casual players, the mothers who afk in an instant for their crying baby, the dudes with retarded gf's etc.
 
If you're like level 40 and can't actually HIT the mobs in order to get any exp, fine, spam songs.

I get pissed when I see people that can easily make a difference in the battle just sitting on their asses and spamming songs, the 75 rngs, the 75 drks, the 75 wars that I so often see.

Seriously, you people aren't even getting as much exp as you would be fighting. Get off your asses.

I'll have to thank Amid later for doing what I've wanted to do for a while
 
in all honesty i wish my ps2 copy would arrive soon so that i could go down there and mkp /brds right now.
 
Hey man, I agree with Saint! Those /BRDs aren't hurting anyone. They just like to sit a play songs, is that so bad? However, they are pretty useless to the cause.

That's why, in my attempts to save our precious Windurstian fortifications, I don't head towards the /BRDs. I pull Kazan the Peerless right to the nearest group of active players. That way everyone can help!
 
I enjoy mpking people who just sit there and spam songs. If you are too low to get exp from fighting then you shouldn't even be there in the first place and if you can gain exp from fighting then you should go out there and fight. I'm kinda sad that the update is lowering the exp gained from songs because then people might not do it as much and then I won't get to kill as many people =(.

Because trying to get anywhere in the past while Beastmen are assaulting your capital city is fucking inconvenient.

So yeah, either actually contribute or quit whining when people decide to fight mobs on top of you.

If the beastmen hold all the territories, they attack the cities - almost nonstop. When they attack the city, there are no NPCs. When there are no NPCs we can't do missions, warp, get sigil, rank up; am I missing something in that list?

Is MPK'ing a /brd considered immoral? Are you trying to push your morals on the rest of the ffxi population here? If you aren't afk, feel free to fight the mobs so generously brought to you. If you don't think you can handle the horde feel free to run away. You have enough time when you see a lone player running toward you with 10 Quadavs behind him to say "Oh fuck, I should run". That is of course when you aren't afk and only come back when you hear your toon hit the ground.

In all seriousness, like Lan/Ty said... if you're a 40something then fine. Spam songs to your hearts content. I saw a 75RNG, 75NIN and 75MNK... all /BRD yesterday in Sauro during one campaign. While over by the forts, it was a clusterfuck of Yagudo. It's a shame the Jeuno arbiter is such a far run.

No, I don't cry at the cut scenes or when a Goblin dies. In fact, I don't really know where you're going here with this. We don't -need- to win the war, obviously we already did in the future.

It's annoying to try and do campaign when only 50% of the people in the zone are actually fighting mobs. It cuts down deaths which cuts down downtime. Maybe I'm just tired of campaign battles taking up to 2 hours when they don't have to.

Also, as other people have stated, having Beastman morale low keeps them from constantly attacking the city, so we can actually go elsewhere in the past instead of getting stuck there in a battle.
 
For a melee job, it's just as easy (actually, even easier) to "afk" while you're attacking a mob than it is to sit and spam songs. Then instead of having to constantly cast a new song, you just hit a ws macro every so often. For whm I just go around curing people. It's also incredibly easy to do. I haven't actually mpk'd a /brd before but when I am on my bst/whm trying to get xp the "hard" way and I see 10+ people sitting there casting Herb Pastoral, I do get pretty annoyed by it when I'm out there fighting and dying trying to get something accomplished.
 
Sooo you don't lose xp if you die in campaign anyway, who cares ?
