Did I do it right?

Not enough deaths captured in the shot! :D

You people who are deterring mpking /brds as childish, unhelpful, and stupid...
you're right.
But it's soooo fun.

When I'm too low level on a job to campaign I sub whm and cure bomb people...don't know why the /brds can't do the same. Then again I quit campaign because I went on vacation and they demoted me.... Damn me for having a life!

What I learned from this

You know, I never really paid much attention to any job/job at the tag giver. Now that this "Don't kill us" thread was started, it's brought it to the surface. Now I'm aware. Now I'm much more aware of the tag campers. I think this thread had the opposite effect to which it was intended.

I was really really aware of it when ... CureIII a split second before I got my tags. Cure II right when I tried to get my reraise item. Then the NPCs... SHell and Protect when I was retrying to get them.

NPCs can't help it, but the tag campers CAN. Because they won't, well let's start bringing them things the can fight.

I would never demote you :(

I know I'm comming in late on this one.. but there are some great points that have been made. This is an issue that irritates me to no end... the MASS of players hanging around the tag guy.. doing thier thing.. just to reiterate (sp)? lol If you have your tags move the hell away.. Thats all i ask... just move away.. theres like that whole other gate (In Sandy) that you can hang out at and spam spells.. why not go over there.. why must you hang out at the gate where THE MOBS COME IN??? Honestly there are so many places you can go and hide and spam your spells and with your sprinter shoes run back and forth if you must leech off campaign.. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD move away. If you dont and i have to target through a crowd of you to get my tags or temp items i will go and find mobs to kill you with.. I have done it before and I will continue to do so. I mean hell if all you did was just like what I have heard a few others say just cure up the npc's that would at least help out some and you wouldnt be a total douche, you know?
I am so glad this has finally come out.. and kudos to all of you that are apart of this leech mpking movement! So basically if you dont want to contribute to the betterment of your country go fuckin do campaign on your low ass spamming jobs elsewhere like out at a fort or something.. away from the people who actually want to do it right.

crybabies screaming FIX THAT IT'S CHEATING

For clarity, I'm not really seeing anyone saying you're cheating. I am seeing people saying you're taking advantage of a glitch, that you're worthless to the cause, and generally a douche.

There's a fine line between participating in Campaign as you wish, and bitching about dying (without XP loss) as a direct result of participating in Campaigns as you wish, despite knowing it pisses numerous people off enough to MPK you. You're like the asswipe that spills hot coffee on themselves and feels they are owed something because it fucking burned. Just, ohnoes...You know what you're getting yourself into. Accept what comes with it, and shut your damn mouth.

You called him fat. You didn't do this in the flame, but you did it on QCDN, and you're kidding yourself if you didn't think it'd make it into this thread. How is that not a failed flame? When you have to resort to personal, real life insults, it indicates your position wasn't too strong to begin with. Furthermore, if your opinion was the only one that mattered to you, why in the hell does this thread even exist?

Do you ever feel like your talking to your childern on here. "Ok baby doll, if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all." name calling is for bullies and people with low selfesteem.

All I have to say is, why do you pay to play this game then go to campiagn and bard bot your exp the easy way? Is this game too challenging now, is doing easy bard exp this way really give you a sense of achievment?

Hey play your game the way you want to, but dont come on this forum swearing at others and whining about getting KO'd. Lifes like that some people do things one way and some have their fun another way.

I support Amidamaru's quest to rid the world of /brd before SE.

Unless its me...god help you if you mpk my drk/brd!(j/k if you mpk me for being /brd I deserve it like all these other people do)

I used to do this before I picked up bard. The problem with it is generally you have a minimal amount of mana depending your level/job combination. The bard method will almost always give you more exp in the end and be easier for you to refresh tags because of the cure cap. Bard is more practical. And with that in mind, I agree with Saint. It's pretty screwed up to go around mpking /bard or bard main. I like you Amid, and even respect a lot of you who are so gun-ho to target BRD. But, I think its a bit out of line. And I recall years ago when many of you used to get very pissed off about mpking before the "patch fix".

Until they do the sync system /brd really helps a lot of the lower levels who are seeking, don't have enough time to party, or whatever reason. I won't touch the subject of lvl 75's barding because that's an entirely different debate in itself. I know I have done my share of /brd especially during the time I was dealing with the nerve damage in my eyes-- that was about the only thing that I could do on my toon for a while because my vision was too impared to do anything else constructively. Call it a glitch if you will, but SE hasn't considered it an exploit. And BRD sertainly isnt hurting you. If you're in San'doria in the first place-- which is the focal point in the bulk of the mpk pictures.. you're obviously there for expierence points and thus the people barding are allowing you to get more.

If you're there for the crusade of taking back nations you wouldnt be in San'doria in the first place-- you'd actually be out at a fort actively trying to take back areas. If you don't like /brd don't do it.. l. You cry because they're not helping you, but I'm willing to bet when syncing comes into place they won't need to be there (at least not as much, anyway). Personally, I find when I am on a 75 job ... I'm glad they're off singing because it means the battle is lasting longer and I'm getting more exp. Honestly, the exp gained from /brd in the campaign is not nearly as much as if in a party, so I don't see what all the complaints are about. It's always been a rather stupid debate to me-- always will be up until they do their "fix" that will ultimately screw other jobs anyway. I'm not going to result into name calling though, it's never been much my style... but I will admit.. I did almost cry in a few cutscenes.

When level sync comes out they wont be there cause SE is going to swing the nerf bat at /brd.

I guess I don't have a problem with people under 55ish doing this, but once you are over that you can pt in ToA areas or at least do campaign they way it was intended to get your exp.

Yes, but while they nerf the /brd they are at least coming up with a semi-solution. i.e the sync system which I hope will help a lot of the lower level jobs that are struggling to get parties or whatever. I'm actually kinda curious how popular campaigning will be when syncing comes out-- but thats a bit off topic. I think most avid campaigners will start to focus more on the NMs and such, but again off topic. Sept's update's going to change a lot of things so really this debate is pretty much a moot.

I don't really think syncing will be the godsend people think it is

For once I agree with you GP. Still need 1 tank/party. I guess all the thfs lfp will be able to make thf burns since it wont matter who has hate then lol(well unless its the mage)

Well it will just allow people to exp with their friends no matter what level which leaves you to still look for a party alone =p.

Nor do I, but I will credit SE for making an attempt at a solution. I'm not looking forward to having to make new friends just to get a group, either. I kinda like being anti-social. lol. That and I have an awful feeling that most will just want me to play WHM full time. In few days I'll be back to playing again now that my eye's better-- so maybe I better look into a social shell or two. But, back to topic-- mpking = bad / fat jokes = bad. Amid's prolly not fat, but just extra fluffy like me.

Amid is totally the fat kid, and yes it is funny. Maybe your fluffy, Amid is chubby best case for him.

I don't think anyone's debating the validity of low level people doing it.

This thread was made on the statement of high level people doing it instead of actually killing stuff and ending up with MORE exp in the long run.

I guess you can't pick and choose whom you mpk, though..
