I mean, you could do a lot of things and easily be successful, but why not just sit back, have some snacky cakes and big gulp sodas on your couch? Even if nobody else appreciates you, at least your own fat ass will be your best friend.

Screw singing songs AND doing other things that actually prove some kind of participation in Campaign battles. That's just crazy talk. ><
 
The only Melee/BRD i'll accept in Campaign combat is a WAR/BRD wielding a Wardancer, and that motherfuck best be swinging that Wardancer wildly.

Okay, so maybe Ami doing it is the first time I've seen someone spam songs AND help out. Still, it CAN be done.
 
Really, I haven't read 13 pages. The only that pisses me off when getting MPK'd in campaign is when someone brings a mob to me when I'm resting because they see "Oh, it's a white mage! He'll cure me!" ... Bitch, I'm resting. I have no MP because your dumbass is trying to solo a mob, not take out one with everyone else. If I'm still resting between point of your "journey to my end" and then, as it seems always inevitable, "my end"... Guess what, you killed us both.

That and I hate it when people bring the mob way out of the way, straight to me, while I'm recovering from weakness since I just recently died due to retard #1 of the first example.

In all honesty thats what the Woundpatchers are for; to help out with curing/raising/buffing. Even THEY have to rest after curebombing people. I think a lot of people don't get that you have MP to recover and your not just kneeling to look pretty.

The thing I hate about recovering from weakness is that a lot of mobs have some form of AoE (except the pure war or drk ones I believe) and if your out of the fray, then your usually in a position where people won't likely see your corpse. *thinks back to Softstep and Staggershell using dual Ore Lobs*

Those frag-fucking Yagudo NMs are horrendous with their AOE. They have one-shot me on theirs even when I'm on DRK with full HP.

I haven't gone to a Windy CB for a long time, refresh my memory please. What AoE do the generals have? I know for Basty we have 2 incredibly lethal ones: Ore Lob (which the Vhuud Vanguard general can DOUBLE, it WILL kill you) and the seldom seen The Wrath of Gu'Dha, which if anyones been hit by it will know it hurts like a mother and gives you one of the worst Gravity effects evah.

Hell, I can't remember the names since they're all about a mile long and Asian. Most of them, though, are either "Mijin Gakure on Speed", AOE Stun+Massive AOE Damage, or "AoE Rapega".

Had you not been a complete retard, you could have actually aided the progress of campaign and contributed something positive rather than the /BRD people you hate so much. So you want to tell me how to play my game? I am tired of seeking with no invites and I will take what little experience I can get even if it's retardly boring. Eventually when I get the level, I'll start to melee, but I can't fucking get there without experience and I can't get that experience when I don't get invites or try to uselessly melee in campaign.

I don't see half you dumb shits who think it's your job to police the /BRD players actually doing ANYTHING besides the bare minimum to get your own exp in campaign. Most of you never leave Sandy. Most of you ONLY do the easiest of ops that require you to stay in Sandy. Half you retards shy away from tanking like the chicken shits you are and conserve the TP so you can get that little extra exp from the finishing blow. Give me a fucking break.

I'll actually take you seriously if even half you morons get off your own asses and try to take it seriously. Defend a zone instead of the same 10 people constantly going. Do ops to strengthen our defense, destroy enemy supplies, etc. that actually aid our military in retaking a zone. Whatever, I am the lazy one apparently because I do nothing while you do something that amounts to nothing.
 
Cmon now guys, you gotta go about doing it a certain way so you dont get pinched. RDM/NIN easily takes a mob on one on one, atleast long enough for help. I can't help it im fighting a blm near tags and it goes -ga crazy! Hell I still live and help does eventually come. Boom I get my 2k, we kill it, we go kill the rest. I certainly dont spend the whole campaign killing /brds, that would get boring, just one good run through is good enough.
 
I see a large group of people and I'm dying, I run to them. I yell in say that the weaklings get out of the way because this mage might not make it to see his family at the end of the war, but he'll sure as hell put everything he has in it.
It's not my fault if people don't listen.

Before anything else, go back and read the PREVIOUS posts I made in this very thread. ALL previous posts. Come back to the one you quoted after that. Tell me if you think it was sarcastic or not. You very obviously missed that it was sarcastic. ROFL.

Given that it was blatantly sarcastic, and totally the opposite from anything else I said in this thread, if you still have a problem with what I said as a joke, for whatever reason, it is indeed YOUR problem and you can kindly go fuck yourself. If anything I agree with the nature of where you are coming from in regards to contributing and earning your keep. God knows I contribute to winning battles. Do I take it as seriously as you do? Apparently not. Looks like that's a good thing. At least check your attitude before misunderstanding. Fly off the handle much?
 
This isn't about lower lvls /brd and spamming songs for xp. I have no problem with that, seeing as you likely wouldn't be able to hit the mobs let alone for much damage. Its the 75's that /brd and contribute nothing to defending a zone. As far as what Lavi said about doing the easy ops, that shits stupid. There are so many ops that present little to no risk and can help with strengthening defenses. Streetsweeper doesn't do much that I know of, but Steel Resolve does. Fuck, even SR I nets a halfway decent amount of xp and AN for just running to your C.A. and matching crystal to npc. SR III can get you about 260 xp AND it increases your Fortification by a sizable amount if enough people do it. Slaughterhouse requires you to just run to an enemy stronghold and plant a bomb at a ???, which is fairly easy if theres a battle going on. /brd isn't the only thing you can do to gain xp in a battle.

Might just be different names for the same ws. Like how Tenzen has Ameratsu for the tag for his ws, even though its just the same as like Jinpu or Gekko...except for Tsukikage. THAT I want. Ore Lob is just a beefed up, AoE version of Ore Toss. Although, I really don't see how Feather Storm can remove a piece of gear. It doesn't make sense lol
 
Lavi if you knew anything about taking back zones you'd know that'd be a group effort a few of us have tried to kill transporters and put bombs in e ronafure S while it's under attack to speed up retreats from orc forces, but really without continual effort(read: only takes 20mins for those fort points to be jacked back up) the damage done is easily repaired.
 
It's not even about campaign to me; it's about all the gimp players that actually level their characters /brd in campaign. If you thought ToAU made people lazy, well, campaign has dug down into another rock layer of lame.

Feather Storm does Conal damage + Poison. I forget the name of the equip-removing one, but it's like a large conal Belly Dance.

Yeah, they are severely beefed up versions of what the normal Yag mobs do.
 
I've lvled SAM in campaign (solo'd 72-73 from just CB's XD) but I helped out. Until the update when SE makes it easier to directly attack and reduce the beastmen armies effectiveness (via reducing Funding/Supplies/Skill/etc.) then it's going to be incredibly difficult to maintain areas, let alone take them over.
