Brett Farve

That's alot more plausible than him being a bear.

I heard this morning that Tampa Bay was lookin to pick him up.

Yeah Tampa is looking like the best shot if Favre agree's to it.

Also i call bullshit. If Rogers sucks ass the majority of fans there will scream for another damn QB. Your fans are no different from anybody elses. I might not live there but I Live in Favre's hometown and grew up watching him play here at USM. I've followed Greenbay since they day he was traded there. Greenbay has a great franchise and wonderful fanbase, but in the end you guys want to win. So don't pull the "high and mighty' with me!

Supposedly the President of the Packers went down to Mississippi and offered Favre 20 million to stay retired.

Packers have now officially overreacted. This is so damn ridiculous it's funny. President flys to Mississippi and offers Favre 20 million over the next 10 years to stay retired.

Day 1. Favre says he wants to play. Packers say lets see what happens
Day 10. Packers don't wont Favre. Favre gets in touch with other teams (what else what he do? he wants to play).

Day 25. LOL Packers offer 20 freakin million dollars to keep him retired.. wth? Just release him then. Favre said he would take a restructured contract, they wouldnt bite that much in the cap hit if he did that. It isnt about the money, he just wants to play and the Packers are forcing him not too.

THANK YOU Mr. "President" of the Packers! (although idk what fuckin "president" you could be talking about, the Packers are the only team in the NFL owned by the fans, not any one person)

Favre should really take it. I think it would be best for all parties involved if he just stayed retired instead of pulling this superstar athlete flip-flop thing so many athletes pull.

First of all, stfu with that right now.

Secondly, you guys obviously don't know Green Bay fans. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have been a Packer fan my entire life and I can tell you that if Aaron Rodgers was our starting QB we'd support Aaron Rodgers and nobody else. Packer fans are the most loyal fans on earth and we support the team no matter what.

Yeah i know Green Bay fans, out of all the Green bay fans, a measely 200 showed up to support the "Let Farve Play" crap, then like 20 the next day. Idk where all that love and support is that your talking about.

Like I just said...I think Favre should stay retired. The rest of the Packer fans probably agree with me. I'm pretty influential that way.

lol yeah thats weird. Greenbay is owned by a board of people. So how is considered the president? I guess someone has to be in charge eh? Also at first, fans were piling in hoping for Favre to return. Then Greenbay released the Favre talks to the Vikings information which turned fans off lol.

i saw this on the screen yesterday at work and i about fell over laughing. But not 20 minutes after that i saw a headline saying "Brett Favre could report to training camp as early as Friday". i pulled one of these: :shok:

and bout a halfhour after that i see this, "Packers would consider trading Brett Favre within the NFC North".

make up your damn mind people!!!!!! :rtfm:

After all this it's hard not to blame both parties. Greenbay handled this horribly and Favre of course for deciding not to retire 3 months after he retired.

You know, everybody thinks Favre would be great with the vikings because of that awesome offensive line with Peterson and Taylor running behind them. I"m thinking he wouldn't fit in as well there because they need a ball control type QB and Favre would try to take the game over going against what the Vikings really want to do.

Favre would fit better in a Tampa Bay offense or Bears. I'd hate for my favorite player to go to either because Tampa Bay is in my division and I freakin hate the Bears.

I highly doubt that the Bears will get Favre. I give it like a 15% chance.

but LOL @ wanting to give him 20 mil to stay retired!

I actually agree with Anglis, he makes a valid point. The vikings want a Trent Dilfer type quarterback, just one that is actually a good quarterback. Someone to make plays here and there, but mainly not turn the ball over. Idk if that would sit well with Farve, tho it would certainly be an easier system to pick up then if he had to go to the lolbears or tampa, in which he would be the primary weapon on offense, thus the team relying on him. I think Minnesota gives him the best chance to succeed and reach his goal of a Super Bowl. Lets face it, neither the bears or vikings are gonna get it.

Nope! And Favre is mistake prone, but in the right offense he could have another season like last year. I honestly think if he never retired that Greenbay would be up there with Dallas as paper champions.

Tampa runs almost the exact same offense, so if he would fit any anywhere it would be there, though Tampa doesn't have the same talent at wideout that Greenbay has.

Though it could be sick thinking of Favre behind the Vikings o-line lol. I mean all the time in the world to throw!
