That being said, Mass. probably doesn't care too much about the health reform bill because their healthcare in the state is already more progressive than what the bill offered. It sucks they had to make the decision, and i'm sure most residents were left with a bad taste in their mouth after voting him in, but the dems over there did it to themselves.

Except for the part where he campaigned on a health care reform platform and won overwhelmingly against the Crypt Keeper and Mooseburger Barbie. A big chunk of Obama's negative numbers right now are due to the poor economy. If McCain was in office, he wouldn't be in the lofty heights of popularity right now, either. His numbers would probably be worse, because there wouldn't have been even a hint of a stimulus package.

I didn't hate Bush until he was out of office really. Then again, I was younger the beginning of his term in office so I didn't realize how good or bad he was. I have health insurance in Massachusetts and it's nothing like Obamedicine. The "progressive" insurance we have was signed into law by Republican Mitt Romney. It mandates that all residents w2 and self employed must have insurance or they basically confiscated your income tax refund and/or penalize you. (unless your on Welfare then you get Masshealth, which is gov't paid).

The reason Coakley lost was because NO ONE WANTS OBAMEDICINE. How else does a DEMOCRAT replacing TED KENNEDY, LOSE a senate election when she was UP 20 POINTS ON JANUARY 1st???????
