WASHINGTON – President George W. Bush on Wednesday revoked a pardon he had granted only a day before — a step unheard of in recent memory — after learning in news reports of political contributions to Republicans by the man's father and other information.

Bush pardoned 19 people on Tuesday, including Isaac Robert Toussie of Brooklyn, N.Y., who had been convicted of making false statements to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and of mail fraud. On Wednesday, the White House issued an extraordinary statement saying the president was reversing his decision in Toussie's case.

Im friends with the daughter of one of those guys, and yeah, they should of been pardoned.........i mean hell, that guy they shot, was arrested weeks later tryin to smuggle more drugs into the country >.> how fucked up is that?

Its fucked up that he never even saw a trial and was just sent back to Mexico after bringing something like 100 pounds of drugs into the US, but we stick the 2 guys doing their job in front of 12 idiots and ruin their entire lives.

Bush says hes not going to pardon them because that would be bad for relations with Mexico. fuck Mexico. On numerous occasions Border Patrol has seen groups of heavily armed Mexican soldiers using Mexican Army vehicles ON US SOIL smuggling drugs into the country. Not to mention the Mexican government basically supporting illegal immigration then condemning the US for making them pay taxes. Keeping Mexico happy is a piss poor reason to let 2 good men rot in jail.
