80% of the people that have posted on this thread are NOT the noobs that you think they are. most of them have been around as long as i have.
kateverlasting, sabia, neosquall, unphazed, dowzer, elemmire, and flameass have either been around as long as i have and are seasoned players that know what the hell they are doing. the rest that have posted on this thread, sorry, but i either dont know you or havent partied with you to say otherwise.
as for the other server goes, there is going to be the same type of people on that server. there are those that play often and know whats going on and then there are those that either dont play much, havent played very long, or are just asshats. caitsith server isnt going to attrack a special breed of player that makes that server any better than this one. if thats what you think, you need to stop, take a deep breathe, and think about it.
as far as their job combos over there, what they want to do over there is what they want to do. if you want some crazy job combo over here or over there...thats up to you. if people have a working mind, they will know that some job combos just dont work in a sense that they wouldnt be effective in parties. IE: drk/smn

Yea but by the time he does that we still won't want him back anyways. Hey Master I've been on almost 2 years :P We just haven't pted unfortunately, or ran into each other, and I'm done lvling anything(- BLM) til BLU :P

ill only know that ones that ive run into alot or have partied with. theres alot of people that ive seen come and go in my 3 years or whatever its been (pc release)
 
Did anyone else beside myself notice the total hypocrisy Mr. Thnikkaman was spewing? In his first post he was raving about how Caitsith is better because players can "RPG" and sub what ever they want. While on Quetzy we are elitetists-assholes who require cookie-cutter job/subjobs. But then a few posts later he rips into Tagrineth for subbing DRG to his SAM, which btw is a pretty decent sub pre-30 for any melee job.

With the crap I have been reading from this guy, I am glad he thinks our server sucks and wants to leave it. Makes it a better place for the rest of us.
 
In a way, I think its kinda sad when ppl are so blind that they cant see the only reason most ppl are so unkind to him is because he brings it on himself.

I myself, find alot of the population on the server very friendly.
 
he just cant handle the fact that our server has a higher expectation then most. So he got into an ls almost imediatly after finding out he was rank 5? Wow rank 5, like thats some accomplishment anymore. Sry you couldnt handle it, gl on caitsythe

I thought the same exact thing when I joined Quetzalcoatl from Fairy. People were nicer, and I was given gil by some friends. Then I realized, aside from the economy, you've got those people that are very impressive at their job, or do just well enough to hold their own, and then you've got those people that just downright suck. All servers are like that. You just don't know any of the people to judge yourself. You're only seeing what's being shown to you.
 
The grass is never greener........that is reminded to me in every aspect of my life, all the time every day.
 
Maybe there wouldn't be so many high-level noobs who don't know their job if certain people didn't power level them all the time. :roll:

And good job on your 50+, rank 5+ LS. Because we all know that being 50+ or rank 5+ autmatically makes you the ubermass of your class, and any class. Rather, see previous statement. If you think level 50+ = can't possibly be a noob, you're contradicting your own opinion of this server.

Just a word of advice...if you DO find some Caitsith forum to post on...don't whore out purple "Read my posts!!" each time someone disagrees with you. It'll probably get a much colder response when you do it as the "new guy" of the forum. The easiest way to make friends is to show that you're mortal, just like the rest of us, and that you make mistakes and can be wrong. You're not some flawless god of logic that knows every single fact and fiction about the game. Additionally, many others are gonna be stupid enough to believe you when you retort with "that's what I said" and "I said that! Read my posts!!"..hell, if anything that'll piss people off that you take them for that big of a moron.

And the last straw - SAM/DRG is useless? Get the hell out. And if I may add to what Kar said: if the door doesn't hit your ass on the way out, my shoe will.

It is not where you go it is who you are with. I would never leave Quetzalcoatl because I am surrounded by good people. I rarely have any problems with anyone in my parties at any level. I think maybe it is the original poster who is the "noob", for lack of a real word. Obviously if people do not like you, you are not going to be comfortable on any server. Good luck to you, hopefully a new server will give you a better attitude.

Why don't I post on Caitsith forums? Because there is no "just Caitsith" website like this one for QC. And since I DO still play on here, I feel I can still post on here. I'm just tellin' you about what's happening...

Another coincidental statement here, is the fact that some of you are talking about how you don't notice the noobs on here... when most of you are the noobs I'm referring to in the first place; some of the others are just... slow.

I'll still be around, but probably playing on there more. Good luck to everyone that I don't see. See ya"

But then you just add in the Your server is better than our server so it makes everyone very defensive. I don't know how you can't expect people not to react the way they did. "Hey guys, I'm moving out.....to a mansion. Have fun sharing that one bedroom among you three at the incredibly high rent..." That's pretty much how people took it. Leave and add a slap in the face.

Or you could have not said anything and just left. I'm not sure if this was a test to see how many people wanted you to stay or what not.

It's just like all those WoW threads ... "I'm leaving FFXI, WoW is better, FFXI sucks....have fun in Suckyland". No one is ever going to take kindly when you're leaving with a little jab to the people behind.
 
I'm a little late to reply, but I've been busy lately.

Congrats on completely reaffirming people's negative opinion about you Thnikkaman. And once again, you deserve it for acting like an idiot and then getting defensive and pissy. While you might have started this thread in good times, there's no way that you wouldn't know that people would respond negatively to insulting the entire server.

The only reason you're starting on another server is because you've worn out your welcome on this one; and there's no reason to think that you won't do exactly the same on that server too. You've proven yourself to be one of the asshats that you proclaim everyone else to be time and time again, so keep up the good work.
 
Well not to be bashing on Quetzalcoatl or anything, I guess it's just easier for me to see what he was talking about since I have characters in both servers.

However IDK what the point is to try to come here and bash the entire server, because u played in caitsith for what? Maybe a week. Every server has it's share of problems and noobs.

I play on quite a few servers, personally I like the change every once in awhile. All the drama and B.S makes my head hurt hearing about it. The whole reason I came back to play here was because Quetzalcoatl isn't lacking in the dept of highly skilled players.

Only two things that I see that maybe hurt the server is 1. a lower population of players then some other servers. and 2nd teamwork on a widescale basis.

There are still alot of LS's out there doing their thing and having fun. So that's all that matters. Ur happy where u r now great, but don't go rubbing it in peoples face and saying haha my new server is better then yours.

Otherwise you could find yourself blackballed with any good LS that does endgame in both servers.

Besides really who the fuck are you and what have you done that was so special where you think you have the right to put down other people's acomplishment's?

I think that actually has a lot to do with QCDN and a lot of people coming here and seeing how much people who can't play get flamed.

And with the population...I think a lot of people when they first start see "Quetzacoatl" and think... screw that..I'm not writing that for any world pass. That's too long. I want to be on Ifrit.
