Call of Duty 4 official thread

I'll be on tonight as soon as i get home from work (around 11 est) and i'll probably be on most of the night. Are the maps 800 points or what? Either way i should have more than enough.
 
Yup, came out early this mornin' and they are 800 points. To bad they're not in matchmakin' but once ever blue moon. Played Broadcast once out of the three hours I just played :/ Maybe it'll be better tonight when a lot of people get on, if people buy it. That map is insane fun.

They have their own matchmaking playlist for them that gets you double xp. I personally like Chinatown the best.

Word, didn't see it earlier but I got a short update when I got back from dinner. Gonna have to check it out.

I made probably my best shot ever today on Creek... Wielding the 50Cal, I was jumping mid-air away from the small mountain-hugging path, faced towards the big house at the top of the hill that you can get on the roof of. There was an opposing sniper on top of the roof, and I blasted him in the face, through a few pine branches XD It was legendary.. My favorite shot of my CoD4 career thus far.

I enjoy the new maps, Chinatown gets annoying because there's just so many friggen windows and it caters to campers so much, and I dislike camping, so I always move around.

Broadcast is my favorite though, it's kind of like a larger version of Vacant, which is one of my favorite of the classic maps.

Overall the new maps get an "A" in my book ;D
 
Yeah, the new maps are cool. They just need some small adjustments to spawns and certain glitches. Chinatown is friggin' hell.
 
Great RPG shot today. Tho they all are so great haha. On the radio tower map. I walked into the sniper buildings at the outside spawn and knifed the sniper. Turned to face the large broadcasting building. As i am looking in there from what i would say is very far, two soon to be dead, other team guys come out the baaaaaack room, second floor in the broadcast tower. I launch the RPG, it sways up and down just missing all the window frames and bang nails the two losers to the back wall. It was great... Next time you enter that sniper building just check across and see how much luck had to be involved lmao.
 
Me and Ele just pretended to be British for an hour and a half while winning like 10 out of 12 games or whatever it was. ;D
 
They really thought we were Brits too they did!
 
I didn't need the XP but I guess it's nice if you're just now rankin' up or crazy enough to keep doin' Prestige Mode.

Anyway, after the new map feelin' wore off I gotta say Countdown and Bog aside, all of the new maps are way, way inferior to the old ones.

I enjoy the new maps, they're a nice refreshment, although I'm not a big fan of Chinatown, too camper-friendly.

My least favorite map, however, remains Overgrown.

I don't like the inside map that looks like a paintball arena...
 
Im pretty good at this game but I played the chinatown map last nite for the 1st time and totally got my butt raped in HTDM. I like the other two maps but havent played the "paintball level" since I only play in HTDM.
