Yes. I didn't run across any enemies. Well, I did. I just waited for them to move. I didn't need to fight anything, though. The problem with Grauberg is that the reinforcements pathing is shitty. You'll constantly have to stop him from running back to the garrison. I've had him run away while he was right on top of me.

Ok and was this vanguard or the second escort one? I havent tried the second yet

Vanguard X. It can be done in any zone the nation you joined has control of.

Oh. Well I was planning to finish all the OPs atleast once so atm I'm only doing the new ones I havent done. Theres a second escort one and I'm wondering whats different about it from Vanguard.

Apparently theres no NPC to take. You just have to "deliver" supplies. My guess is that it boosts Fortification or Resource values, from how the description of the Operation is written. Where as Vanguard replaces lost defending NPC soldiers.
