Campaign Protips:

I knew that and I'm a career melee who just started getting his feet wet with magic. However, just because I know this doesn't make me assume everyone does.
 
Skaw, you need to take a deep breath and realize that this person had good intentions. If the person curing you really bothered you that much, then you could have had done 3 things:

a) /blockaid
b) Kindly send him a /tell saying "{Cure} {No Thanks}" That way even if the person didn't speak English you could get your message across.
c) Wait until he was done

None of these options involve calling the person a retard or taking the time to flame him over something so stupid. You need to take your elitist attitude and stow it somewhere so people don't have to deal with it.
 
I was running around the other day and found Khidir (I think it was) fighting a NM for CoP. He was shy some HP, I replaced it. When trying to cast the second cure he hit blockaid and stopped me in my tracks. We went our separate ways. The entire event took place in a 5 second time-frame.

Wonder if we'd be having this discussion if it had been Haste that skipped the event. Prolly not. We'd have a thread about how high parses went in campaign, how fucking badass everyone is, and how different modifiers stack with different attributes to create the ultimate "hardon for exp."

New mage SOP:

#1 Log in

#2 never heal

#3 ???

#4 Profit

Did you even get your reward? If so, what the fucking hell are you bitching about? You didn't even bother asking him to stop, this is just a stupid excuse to flame people.

This flame could've been totally avoided if,

1. you asked him to stop curing you cause your trying to talk to a NPC.

or

2. You just didn't create this thread. I mean seriously, is it THAT big of a deal to you? I bet you 100% this person had NO thought of "OMG ITS SKAW LETS CURE HIM SO HE CANT TALK TO THE NPC"

Don't you just hate admiting you are wrong? It's ok though, you nor the world will explode.
 
Ofcourse I didn't get my reward. I was trying to participate but couldn't until he stopped.
 
Honestly, do you guys really believe yourselves when you say if I told him to stop, that he'd stop? Did you miss the point where I fucking tell mages I have Chakra ready, and they still don't let me fucking use it?
 
I'll be amused if people go out of their way to deliberately cure you near campaign NPCs after this.

I rarely cure you now in Assault because I know you'll just Chakra.
 
the dude was just trying to cure you when you are missing HP. He probably didn't know that you where talking to a NPC. But even if he was spamming cure on you to mess with you, that doesn't make it right to make a flame on these. A simple /tell saying " I'm trying to talk to a NPC please stop" would have solved this.

The point of the post was you would run away from dying in besieged because it leaves you weakened...
 
Here's my Protip: If you complain about something so idiotic as being cured to full hp "wasting" 30seconds of your time, you are a dick.

You aren't running away from dying though, because no ones getting hate to pull the mob off you since the mobs out of range. Even more so due to the immense lag of besieged. So uh, the only hate being lost is from getting hit. Which would happen well enough just standing still. Infact, even better since you're not dragging the mob around, occasionally managing to be out of range of it as well.
