Canadians are crazy

What a horrible way to die....... ; ; RIP poor Timmy. May the attacker burn in hell for eternity.

- Imo, where this happened is irrelevant (sp).

I do feel sorry for him too. And here I am thinking Canadians were all moose-lovin, beer drinking comedians...

I was actually thinking about posting this yesterday. We talked a lot about it at work. It's horrific, for sure. But I seriously hope you were being sarcastic when you said this could never happen in the U.S. Violent crimes can happen anywhere..

I know they happen but I dont remember anything like that happening on any sort of public transportation, but I live in So. Cal. any never hear anything about buses expect when some retard tries to drive thru the bus crossing and gets smashed into.

People get molested and robbed on public transportation in the United States. It wouldn't be surprising to hear about someone getting killed on it. This is a sad event and very horrific. I feel for those on the bus who had to witness it and for the family for the victim.

I'm sure it happed the US lol. Even on a bus.

I heard on the radio that all of those on the bus have been sent out for counseling due to the psychological trauma involved. Also, I believe there was a few children also on the bus. What a horrible thing to witness, and it's sad that someone had to randomly and innocently lose their life in such a violent and unnecessary way.

This crap wouldn't even happen in the U.S. (on a bus at least)

Wow. It's best I don't comment further than this.

Molested? Sure, I've heard of ppl rubbing one off on other passengers on air planes. Robbed? No doubt. Stabbed multiple times and decapitated on a bus?
Idk that sounds like some 3rd world jihad stuff, especially since it was apperently unprovoked.

Just because people don't get stabbed on a bus in the U.S. doesn't mean it doesn't have the potential to happen. I am sure hundreds of Canadians right now are thinking "How could such a horrific and violent crime happen in our country!?" also thinking that this type of behaviour is something that should only be seen in 'other' places, and not in our own backyard.

The truth of the matter is: We are all human. We are all the same species. We all have the potential to be violent, to kill and to murder each other. You can't say that this could never happen, because in reality it can.

I know we're all people, but in an instance like that I'd like to think that someone on the bus would've done something. I'm not saying I would or that I'm a brave hero, but I at least think I would have tackled the guy or something, like the flight 93 people did, take one for the good of the rest of the people on the bus.

The people did restrain the guy when they realized it. I'm sure most were so shocked that it happened that it took them a second to react. Honestly there are crazy people everywhere and it could happen anywhere. It only takes a few seconds for someone to start attacking someone out of the blue.

Yeah my bad I just assumed it was just a stabbing... Yea I now doubt it coulda happened lol.

If you read several reports on the incidents, the guy sitting in front of th victim heard something like a struggle. By the time he realized what was going on, the killer was already on top of the victim, repeatedly stabbing him everywhere, including his abdominal region. Many people were listening to ipods, including the victim, and probably didn't hear anything until too late.

Yes, shock delayed people, from reacting, but the main priority at this point was to get everyone else off the bus before the attacker went after someone else. Its sad to say, but the victim was probably close to dying after multiple stab wounds, from lose of blood, plus being stabbed in critical regions like in the organs is very fatal. Perhaps the victim could have lived...if the attacked did not decapitate him.

Also, a trucker pulled over and helped evacuate the bus, as well as help the bus driver and another passenger hold back the bus door so the attacker would be confined onto the bus, thus not attacking more people or running away. The bus driver also disabled the bus so the attacker could not drive away in it.

Sorry but if I was on that bus and I saw a dude gettin stabbed to death, the first thing going through my head would be "get the fuck off this bus" not "go help the guy with 8 holes already in his chest".

Thats why I said I'd like to think I'd do that, but in reality I probably wouldnt. Although from what I hear the bus driver disabled the bus from the back so the dude with the knife and the severed head is now angry he cant get away and he cant go away cause the bus doesnt work. All in all I'm happy no one else was hurt and the guy was caught.

@Zeph-I wasn't trying to sound like a dick or cold-hearted, sometimes I get carried away on a single point. Didn't mean to offend if I did.

That's really bad no doubt. But nothing compared to the crazy things that happen in the states.
