So I join this pick up party. Consisted of me (rdm), brd, nin, war, war and blu.

Nothing spectacular by any means from a pick up party, just your typical 10k an hour lameness. Whatever, I was just bored so I joined.

After about 2 hours the ninja had to leave so this douche Chemira gets invited. First pull she's barking at the bard about songs. Again whatever, not the greatest puller in the world. About 7 mobs in he/she says "last mob" and just warps away.

Never bothered to get a replacement, nothing. Apparently, she didn't want to subject anyone else to this awful party she was so forced to join against his/her will.

So screw 5 other people in the process cause you didn't walk into a 20k an hour bonanza? Well fuck you ok, he/she must be the biggest idiot on the server to be expecting that. I've been in hundreds of pickup parties from as bad as 7k and good as 20k+ and the 20k+ ones are FEW and far between.

Either get a static or a clue you moron but don't be a dick and warp out cause it wasn't what you wanted. I don't care if he/she chooses to leave but have the decency to replace yourself and not be an elistest piece of shit.

FYI: His/her gear was average at best so I don't know what the fuck makes him/her think she's better then anyone else.

For the 2nd and last time, I don't care if he wanted to leave. But replace yourself or give at least a 10-15 min warning or something so a replacement can be found.

It was not so much the melee, the brd kept pulling a lot of links and for some reason he kept saying his sleep was resisting alot. I helped him best I could but I really wouldn't blame the melee. Probably would of been a 15k exp party with a good puller.

8-10k is about what a paladin merit party pulls. That set up was meant to be a cannon with how many melee there were. They should have replaced the blu, and found a monk. No matter how much Tom tries to deny it that was a failed cannon.

Well I didn't setup up the pt. I just got invited to it. There aren't too many pickups parties pulling in more then 15k. And I don't care if you felt your time was "wasted" He/she could of seen the blu in the party or lack of 2 brds or whatever and not came out.

The bottom line is if your going to be elistist trash don't accept pick up invites cause 9/10 of them won't be great exp. If you expect more then that you operate in the land of fantasy.

I guess common fucking courtesy is too much to ask for these days.

It's unfortunate it was a bad party, and you have every right to leave, but you should still give notice so that the xp isn't crippled horribly until the 6th gets there.

I never take replacement parties anymore as they normally don't last much longer than a half hour. I would think knowing that not many people would take a merit party, and would rather keep seeking to get a new group. I mean come on that was a cannon merit set up, and he was pulling in what I get in a good merit. The bard was pulling links not to forget the melee were killing slowly as multiple sleeps were required. Either the warriors and ninjas were gimp as hell on top of the bard not having enough charisma to stick enfeebles. Then there is the chance that the melee weren't getting march and haste which slows killing even more.

Jesus I don't have a canon job, and I know how one works.

Almost all my pick-up pts pull in 18-25k, but then I don't seek, I start the pt, and hand pick my members.

Yall should have disbanded when the ninja left, 9/10 times replacing someone in the pt ends up with a worse pt then before, or it starts a chain reaction and everyone must go 20mins after the next one. I agree with Chemira's actions, and he/she probably did you a favor not getting a replacement.

When your gear isnt even up to the standards of "average" you are an idiot to expect everyone else to carry your sorry ass to 20k per hour when you cant pull your own weight. If you want 20k per hour; gear yourself like you want it.
That being said.... if I had a party like that and they were that horrible I would have possibly left too.If I HAD to get a rep I woulda probably done something like send bugaboo thier way or force them to party with a drg or pup. You basically grab somone else and basically feel sory for the poor sucker you roped in.
It's the main reason I HATE having to replace myself. In addition to having to somehow find someone to replace me and type a convo with them I have to count shadows/ /recast sata timers/tp/ voke new mobs/ect all depending on which job im on which usually results in me sucking because I cant do any of that while the search menu is up. Making somone find a rep is a horrible thing to do to em unless they were forced to leave by thier ls to some random event (which I think means the ls has too much power over you if it's not a really important NM and you have an aegis/gailjahorn but that's another story) or random rl curcumstances.

It's easy rofl, if you don't like the party then get a rep. My jobs are well gear'd for merits and if i land in a shitty party i'll stay a while and then i usually ask the leader if they want to replace me or if i should find my own.

Little edit before i go out the door, he said he knew it wasn't a great party. That's not the flame, the flame was how he was arrogant in just up and leaving with no warning, ragging on wannabe cannons wasn't his intention, if it was i'm sure he would have mentioned it rather than saying he didn't care it wasn't that great of a party.

Eor... It could just be me but a large majority of the people seeking are afk and take 5 something minutes to respond at best half the time. For some reason DD (that can voke like nin and war/nin)also like to completely vanish on me when I have to get a rep.

Besides if the party is horrible it just needs to die. If it's great... 30k~40k exp in a short amount of time is more than enough and people who were in the party from the start are going to get burnt out if they try to give the rep some decent exp time. I dont like inviting somone knowing they might get 30 minutes - an hour max.
