Chocobo Hatched!!

I seem to recall that being in the flood of info by the chocoguy, "to give them the food you want your choco to eat" or something similar. Still, too much information at once meant I forgot a few days later when I needed it. :wacko: Having an option on the care menu, as opposed to having to trade food, (auto) enter care screen, see result, exit care screen, trade another food, etc. until the chick gets full... it'd be nice, I think.

You're not alone, I have this instinct too, maybe we've played the game too long, but that's exactly what I did.

An auto-care system would be good, perhaps trade a supply of food to the NPC and use it from the menu, like the multiple use barge tickets. "You have (x) number of Vegetable pastes remaining"
 
i nearly killed mine cause i took it for so many walks >.<;

now its sleeping like a baby ^.^

Yeah, as soon as my chocobo was born I traded the guy food to test it out, since I figured they'd be starving upon hatching. But, alas, realism falls a step short as they hatch completely full.
 
My chocobo is crying at night now, so the lady at the stables gave me a key item "White Handkerchief" and told me to keep it on me so that I can give it to the chocobo so it has something with my "smell and warmth" on it. <_<

Yeah, you have to make it into an "Off-white spankerchief"
