"Classic" Star Wars trilogy coming to DVD

[Pasquale]

Star Wars purists take note: the original, unaltered version of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will be released on DVD this fall... just in time for Christmas. [ See article. ]

I found out about this at work yesterday. After reading about it, I air-guitared in excitement. My boss saw me air-guitaring and now won't stop calling me "Eddie."

George Lucas decided that Jay & Silent Bob cameos would confuse the hard-core SW fans.

actually kevins role would be as director to what lucas wrote, It would have had nothing to do with jay and bob ever. Much like kevins work in southland tales (the second movie from director of donnie darko), kevins Spiderman and black cat comics, Green arrow comics and about 10 other movies he helped make that have no link to jay and bob whatsoever. He doesnt like his career being based around two stoners he made up lol.
