I've decided the monster is the Statue of Liberty, because a different but unimportant monster came and tore off her head, so she's angry and is wreaking havoc on the town!

...Duh!
 
Honestly what does it matter? The movie will probably suck anyways.

Just leaving a monster as the only question for people to go see a movie means they know it's bad. Not to forget that it all seems to be done on a digital camera because of the guy leaving.


Idea of a monster:

It's a genetically enhanced Russian super human that has come to destroy the free market system, and the free world.

On the Movie site, the trailer shows two Soldiers escorting a woman behind a tent where you see the silhouette of the three and the woman begins to expand like a balloon and eventually pops.
The preview is also hinting at some type of virus going around the city killing everyone.

So my guess is that there is no giant monster but humans exploding around the town and their screams sound like some huge monster.

You know what I find funny? This is supposed to be a home video that's supposed to have been a recording of Rob's going-away party. But if they're able to project it on a movie screen, shit must've been shot on an HD camera or something. Not cheap :/

On the clip on this site about 2/3 of the way through there's a curtain and you can see the outline of this huge thing that looks like it's attacking some woman, like it's gonna eat her head....I'm telling you, it's manbearpig, it looks exactly like it.

yeah I was just talking to someone about that. It's a good marketing tool if you think about it. I realize what they're doing and I still wanna go see it. Just think of the thousands of brain dead people in this country, it's sure to work.

Worked great for The Matrix. Note how the sequels sucked compared to the first because we already knew what it was about.
