Cloverfield Monster reavealed in new trailer!

f uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ck, i wanna go see it in theatres, but i dont wanna piss away 10 buck... to spoiler or not to spoiler, THAT is the question

Spoiler:
you never really see the monster, it's like blair witch style so it sucks, no real character development except between two stupid people. It has a lot of advertisement shit for a Japanese drink called Slusho

how's that?

Everything: Character development, plotline, etc. took place during the whole ARG that happened well before this movie came out. So the people who actually kept up with the ARG should be able to understand what the fuck is going on.
Not that I have been. But I have a good enough idea on what's been going on (dude named Teddy got inside the Slusho company and his bitch girlfriend thinks he left her for another woman, lulz), so I'm probably gonna check it out.

Yep, the story is bigger than what I tought. IGN collected all the viral campaign for the movie in this page:

I checked it, and the Slusho "mystery ingredient" thing is very interesting.

See, that's annoying imo lol. A movie should have all such aspects in the movie, imo. Character, plot, development, etc. But.. ah well.. that's like someone making a game with just one aspect of the game and expecting the player to go abouts looking for the rest of the story on their own :|

Though I will admit it is an interesting idea and nothing I know to have been done before lol.

Exactly. This method doesn't appeal to everyone, but to the people that followed the story from the beginning and such will get a kick out of this movie. Others might leave the theater confused.
I like the idea, but like I said, it's not for everyone.

Just saw the midnight showing and I gotta say...

good movie

Majority of people I've heard from agree with you, can't wait to go see this later today.

well I just saw this, I have to say it's ok but short. I don't think it is "zomg great" but it's not bad :P The monster was cool.

The world will end in 3.5 years. It's true, you all should have seen the signs by now.

I hear people saying you might want to bring some

to enjoy this flick more. Is it that bad?

It's not a Michael Bay film so it can't be that bad...

lmao, you see the monster..

Spoiler:
the camera guy gets eaten by it and he stand right under it.
are you effing blind? lmfao

There's nothing "New" about the presentation. It was new when Blair Witch did it. And

Spoiler:
And the plot is TERRIBLE. There's no information, no real character development, you never find out what the thing is, why its attacking the city, where it came from, and what the hell is up with all the Slusho shit they plastered everywhere as part of the marketing campaign.

There's no real ending even. It simply ends when everyone with a name is dead. All the movie has going for it is the advertisements.

Maybe people don't like to know EVERYTHING, it leaves people guessing and lets them use their imagination. I love not having the answers to everything, if you. It makes shit boring. But the majority of the population of lolEarth want to have all the bloody answers and they ruin shit so bad.

Its not a matter of knowing everything, its a matter of knowing NOTHING. Seriously, the plot for this movie could fit on a single napkin.

The entire approach to the movie was to show you what you might see, if something like this actually happend. The lack of background information didn't take away from the movie in the slightest, not for me anyway. If a fucking monster attacks New York City, how do you think we're actually going to know?

This was never supposed to be a normal movie.
