Cloverfield Monster reavealed in new trailer!

People like to rag on transformers simply because its Michael Bay.

And on that, I'll clarify. I loved Transformers. I was alluding to the fuckup of "The Island" which seriously gave me whiplash with all the vehicles flying and e'erything.

Its not a matter of knowing everything, its a matter of knowing NOTHING. Seriously, the plot for this movie could fit on a single napkin.

And yet it hits the big screen while other movies take up pages upon pages and don't make it big.

I have to agree with Marajade, I haven't seen this movie yet, but I am too much of a "want to know everything" kind of person to enjoy this kind of movie. Kind of like Thirteen Ghosts... that movie would have been SO much better if they gave background information on the ghosts... but NOOO they couldn't do that could they?

lmao, you see the monster..

Spoiler:
the camera guy gets eaten by it and he stand right under it.
are you effing blind? lmfao

lol, my spoiler was based on the fake spoiler that someone posted earlier :P

No, it was shown in the theaters, it didn't "Make it big." Alot of shitty movies go to theaters too.

Heck, half the people probably only went to see it to find out what the fuck it was.

the momen i heard that the guy who does the tv show "lost" was involved with this i knew right away that the movie would tell you nothing about the plot and the plot you thought the movie was heading in wouldnt be the plot that unfolds and that the all the hype the movie produced would be for nothing because the movie would be a big let down...least thats the way i feel about the tv series "lost"

Yeah, just got back from seeing it and was about to make a post saying to disregard this completely lol. Not completely inaccurate but when it's inaccurate it's REALLY inaccurate. Good movie.

If you're one for back story though, this is not for you. It's meant to be a documentary, not something with a complete storyline or plot, so if you do want back story well, you're not getting it. Shut up, stop complaining about it, and just don't go see it.

And no, the second paragraph of my post was not directed completely towards you Elemmire.

saw it; completely enjoyed it; left me wanting a lot more and I will probably go to see it again. Please, dear GOD, nobody start a "Cloverfield Spoilers Thread" where you toss about moronic theories about the monster, the backstory, Tagruato/Slusho/TIDOWave/"Clover", and the links between this and JJ Abrams' TV shows.

I saw the movie and loved it. I usually don't get emotional during movies but I like how realistic it was.

ok it was an ok movie what i thought made it mad kick ass was the military reaction to it, i loved that part, but i dunno the stupid comedy at parts made me want to rip the camera away from the guy and break it

no it wasnt bad i love some of the fighting, and the idea of the little mini ones was cool monster was very original just some of the stuff in it made me mad

the little mini ones made me think "ZOMG SIN!!!"

now THAT was funny.

i saw it last night and loved the movie too. that being said, i think this is a theater movie. meaning it will completely lose the feeling of "being there with the cast" watching it at home. unless you have one of those huge home theater systems and what not. the funny part made me laugh and i felt sory when cast members died. especially the girl that got bit by one of the "sin scales". i work next o a theater and called that after i read up a theory that the monster wold be something like sin.

oh and romp. guess it wasn't Godzilla after all like you guessed. :P lol

So i talked about the movie with a coworker today and he asked me if i saw what happened at the end.
Spoiler:
Apparently, during the last clip where rob and beth are at cony island if you look in the background something far in the distance falls into the ocean. I didn't see it. Did anyone else?

Yes Mike, that occurred. The wife was looking at *me* when it happened, so she missed it.

http://cloverfieldclues.blogspot.com/ has information. I forget where, and don't feel like digging for it, but it's there.
