College Football- The Empire that is the SEC

Won it by default? Are you fucking serious? That's got to be one of the dumbest posts.
Passing Statistics
NAME CMP ATT YDS CMP% YDS/A TD INT RAT
Tim Tebow 234 350 3286 66.9 9.39 32 6 172.5

Rushing Statistics
NAME CAR YDS YPC LONG TD
Tim Tebow 210 895 4.3 25 23

4th highest QB rating in the nation with 55 TDs. Yeah he won the Heisman by default.

Dumbest posts? Really? Lemme guess, another homer SEC/Florida fan. Yes, he had a great year, but there were no serious contenders for the heisman. It's not just about stats, there are 'politics' involved as well. Normally they would not give the heisman to a Sophmore.

Well he won it because he broke the rushing TD record in the SEC. That was tough, and he did it as a QB.

Problem with him this year is, he can't pass. His WR's made him look good last year in the air. Now that defenses know him, he can't run either, because everyone knows he's gonna get the ball. Seriously, last year for Tebow was just that, a One Year Wonder.

Auburn fired their offensive coordinator, Tony Franklin, today. Heh, he was seven games into tenure, so that might explain some sloppy offensive calls. That's what I called gettin' ownd right there. The season can't get any worse for them so here's to a firing maybe firing some players asses up to actually play some football. Doesn't look like Tubbs is lookin' for a new replacement either. Said he was personally goin' to oversee the offensive changes for the remainder of the season, I hope he at least brings in someone to train for next season despite that though.

Hope it goes well, but when head coach takes over duties of a coordinator, it usually spells doom lol. Guess it can't get any worse though!

Cool stat. Missouri has yet to have a 3 n out all season with the 1st string. O.O

He's been carryin' to load at Auburn, mostly, as long as he has been there on the offensive side. They've never really had a very reliable offensive staff. All this does is put them at square one without dead weight, as much as I hate to say that. I don't like all of this change though, they obviously adapted to the new offense, and rather quickly. The only people that should be blamed for the failure in the last game are the offensive players. They just simply gave up. However, the adaptations to the changes are all in thanks to Tubbs. I hope he doesn't give up the new offense because he definitely doesn't have the backs he use to have nor the line to support them. Auburn will always be like this though. They'll alway be a tough team to play, or a dangerous one at least, but they'll never get set in stone, staff wise, long enough to win a championship. It's my curse. The Braves break it every once in a while and do something big but Auburn just gets stuck in the SEC mediocre pool every year no matter what. I tell you this much though, I never have in my life thought about abandonin' any of MY teams, ever, until last weekend... I'm a Falcons fan as well and I almost gave up on Auburn before them. Last weekend they just made me sick to my stomach.

Never give up on your teams!

I'm a Saints, University of Southern Mississippi, and Braves fan! That should tell you something, though the Braves did have one hell of a streak lol.

Oh, I'll never stop rootin' for my teams. I've always been a fan and will still be the day I die. It just sucks that Auburn had to go and loose their heart, that pisses me off more than anything. I've been down by 5 in the bottom of the 9th by 5-6 and come back to win, I've also lost my fair share as well but I've never, ever been on a team that just gave up. Even as kids, we never gave up. It's just such a shame to have to sit back and watch these bastards, grown men none-the-less, lose because they had no heart. It's pathetic and the worse thing you can do in the sports realm. However, despite how sick they make me, I'll be an Auburn fan until I draw my last breath.

As far as the Braves are concerned, they make me happy every year, somehow. Unlike Cubs fans, ouch, sick joke I know, I don't care about World Series wins or any of that. The Braves are always truckin' no matter what they've got. Other than Chipper, if you can even label him as a "superstar" despite his greatness, they don't and have never had a team as stacked as a Yankees team or a BoSox team. They play the ol' fashion way, as much as it can be played anyways. Year after year, they never fail to make me proud to be a Braves fan. Much like the Rangers, they can take no-goods and nobodies, give them a chance and we get to watch them grow into something no other team could have done for them. Gotta be more proud of that than a team that can spend millions and billions to stack a team, ANYONE can do that, if they have the money, anyone.

As a Saints fan, you probably share my same pain in the NFL. To bad we can't share a pint and talk about the pride that comes with bein' a fan of mediocre.
