Columbine Super Massacre RPG

ww2 wasn't tragic at all, it was fun, so it's ok to make games about that.

never heard of this and i was offended and disgusted when i read the title and what it was about...then i watched it and i suddenly wasnt as offended as before, it looks like it has a different motive than just being a "Shocking" video game about of of americas great historic tradgedies. I would feel rather uncomfortable playing it like said in the video, but...i might have to download it.

I went to Columbine.

We all carry around tech9s and wear trenchcoats in Littleton, CO woohoo. Seriously, people are fucking ridiculous, try going to that school and have to deal with all the bullshit because of those two retards playing out a violent fantasy and rubbing their cocks thinking about blowing people up and then see how cool it is to make a video game about it.

Do you see the people who died in call of duty fighting demons in hell? No, WWII games were made by an actual game company who tried to make things as realistic as possible. In this, it looks like it's just satire and you kill kids the entire game, then you apparently fight demons in hell. Wtf is that?

So, you think they should have made this a more realistic game? Maybe use the actual names of students? that would make it better?

its funny browsing the forums of the games site and seeing such a split set of feelings on there, 85% of the people bashing the game admit they never played it, Those who have played it admitted to being absoultey disgusted by the idea from the title until they played it and saw what it was really about.
While the idea and thought of even play it makes me feel uneasy after seeing the actual shooting security camera footage some time back when the movie was first announced (yeah columbine the movie will be coming out, if it hasnt already) im gonna give it ago, cause you cant bitch and complain till you try it which im glad to hear that most media that covered it tried it before reporting it and said it wasnt what people thought.

This isn't the only problem, it's that Columbine was about shooting a bunch of innocent people. As opposed to WWII where people kind of shoot back at you. Seriously, who gets entertainment out of shooting innocent people?

(Not defending the game, I haven't looked at the link yet)

What do you call the holocaust?

War loses lots of innocent life, it isn't implemented in most games. If you've ever called an air strike, or dropped bombs in war games, you are killing innocents though. The fact that they have no name to you, or can't even see them seems to satisfy you that you aren't doing so.

GTA isn't real, there's a difference.

If you weren't part of the incident, it really isnt any more real for you than GTA is. It shouldn't have any more affect on you than killing in GTA would.

Only people who should have any right to complain would be people who were directly affected by the shooting.

ding ding!

on a side note i cant play it, Only lets me see half the screen for some reason and i cant window it, oh well.

People are so foolish. The whole idea that people boil such real life things down to a game is straight up disrespectful. You can laugh and have fun about it because you are ignorant of what it really is. Go ahead laugh it up, deny the fact that you have humanity in you that ties you to other people, the strange thing called empathy. When people start to lose sight of that which ties us together then you start to see real violence.

Disgusting.

Hey everyone lets go play Sudan: Darfur Attack, or Rwanda: Hutu vs Tutsi. Im sure it seems harmless to you and just a silly game. I bet you will feel great after playing it then having someone start killing people in your school, watching your teachers have to leave school because they can not handle it mentally and get panic attacks or watch your sister get scared by any loud noise or every time you watch a violent movie with them and they squirm you wonder if its because they saw someone die in front of them.

If you want to play it or do play it you will justify it in anyway just so you don't have to face facts so go ahead.

Actually, I was directly affected by the shooting, and I do go to Columbine. However, I dont see this game being entirely too bad, because its not life-like. Now, if it was life-like, I would be totally pissed they made this game, so I've just got kind of a 'meh' feeling for it.

I graduated a couple years ago and there were few people that stayed by then. Much different, but still made national news for a food fight.....got to love it.
