Kinda like how that shut you up?

From your last post to me, you implied that I thought you didn't have a life outside this game, and I was simply responding and saying that wasn't true.

I'm also not offering excuses, I'm giving an explaination. An excuse would be trying to shift the blame off of us, but my explainations are saying why we failed while also accepting blame. We wiped, but we know why, so we'll do better next time.

lol i just checked this thread again onions it didnt shut me up i was watching tv, but yeah despot i know. if u want to know meeze, onions ls was obviously camping despot. they had like idk 10~ ppl there, and more were coming. sooo my ls was like sky farming and me and 4 whm, rdm, rng, and pld were ordered to go camp despot(like we had a chance evev if we claimed him). so we were fighting gaurdian doll or w/e u call em, and it was @70%~ when our pld pulled despot. needless to saw we wiped, they got despot pwnd it, i got r3, they were still fighting gardian, AoE killed me so i died 2 times, and made me look like an asswhole for CC. and on top of it, 1/2 of the ppl were in the LS i got kiked out of, so i probably have 0 respect from them. but u know. when u want a job done send 7 ppl and 1/2 of em whms right?

yeah shows u how good my ls is :P

>_> yea i guess i kinda did there huh? o well i could care less.

Just seems like you are using excuses as to why your shell can't even dent a pussy HNM like Faf.

Not that I have an outside standpoint, but I usually don't take the time to get in the middle of these things...But Vang, you are right on some points. The wipe to Fafnir was pathetic. It was really sad.

We had a lot of mage power, and the definite offensive set to kill the thing. What we lacked were people to keep our tanks alive, and our mages kickin. 1 WHM and 1 RDM. The 1 RDM we DID have died within 2 seconds of the fight because he wasn't paying attention, and the breath attack hit him not once, but twice for insta kill. We had another RDM en route, who apparently got lost, and was late to the SECOND window to boot.

It was a sad display. NH has the ability to take out this stuff with ease. When everyone jumped Tiamat that one night we were doing great, it showed what happens when people give a shit. But unfortunately, the problem is a lot of people don't give a shit. Well, they don't give a shit until we claim something.

Why do we have such a bad record on these HNM? Cuz half the members won't lift a finger til we have a red mob kicking our asses. So I'll stick up for NH's definite ability being there, just rarely utilized...On the other hand, and it honestly doesn't bother me to admit it, the LS has way too many people who don't give a shit unless there's a 100% chance they may get something...In other words, if we claim it first. If people started just taking the time and win/lose risk that comes along with CC'ing 3 other LS's, we'd have no problems. But that's hard pressed it seems.

Lay on us for the times we got screwed, there are no excuses outside of our own members being the reason(Whether with their mistakes mid battle, or their mistake of not even coming to the battle), but do recognize that there are many skilled players in the shell. Now if we could just get them all at the same HNM camp for once...

Very nicely put and I will agree NH has a few nice players in the shell. As I told one of your members I UNDERSTAND not everyone can be in a power HNMLS or like an Iron or a Kaizen (oh noez 1 r kizzng azz agan!!1)

Just simply not enough room in each shell for everyone

BUT

If you want to come here and go on Order LS website and talk like you take down dragons and hunt them blah blah and just basically act like an all around poseur then that's where I will step in with a harsh reality check.

I said Tiamat is easy cause she pretty much is. If not for CFH we would have killed fine. Not once did I say we killed Tiamat anywhere ever. When I made that post it was.. hmmm after 3 hours of camping Fafnir/Nidhogg after 3 hours of waiting for people to get there and stay and I figured "I really don't wanna go against this and die and then have everyone leave cause we didn't win or cause it's too late" so I decided to ask a LS that knows how to do it. And the only thing I really wanted to know was where they did it.. not saying we did it the same as them just a comparing of notes (and.. by the way.. we didn't do it at all like they did and did well enough even though we severly lacked people there). And I agree with Cythe's post.

Tiamat works in 4 tiers. The first tier, which it seems you guys have about figured out is the simplest, 100% hp to 50% hp. Mistakes can be made, recovery is simple. The second tier, 50% to 10% is pretty much the same fight except that Tiamat spams mighty strikes, and a mighty strikes double attack has the potential to one shot any tank in the game pretty much. One mistake can result in a tank dying. The third tier becomes exponentially more difficult from 10% to 5% as he starts spamming tp moves more. Finally the fourth tier from 5% to 0% is constant meditate, and constant tp spam, hate and mp are extremely difficult to manage. Considering our track record against him as a shell, once you've gotten him to 5%, you're about halfway done with figuring out the fight.

According to someone very experienced with the fight, you weren't even halfway there. You got a little ways into the second of the two easiest phases, and then failed. That's nowhere near being able to say "We would have beat it".

Ah.. so they say. But I've seen the fights over and over again before with other LS and the "other half" of the fight isn't much more intense. Tiamat spams Mighty Strikes anyways in the "half" we were in. The other moves that are so bad that he does a lot appearantly are terrorize (whoopy) and his wing attack. Firaga is never a problem any stage since we have enough stunnders. The wing is easy healed and doesn't do all THAT much damage. So she hits a bit more/harder... not a big deal either. We had plenty of mages there to counter with healing, plenty of back up tanks, we would have been fine.

They are just "practicing" Tiya sheesh...ONLY 38 or so more runs to go and we should be at a consistent 15% before the wipe/call for help strategy is deployed.

Tiya beat me to it but..
You got to 45%.. barely over 1/2 dead, and waay before the fight really gets hard... and now its easy?

20minutes? ok.. you were there right? shut the fuck up. We were fighting it for atleast 45minutes until the lack of healing and weakened tanks made it unable to be successful.

And there's something I'd like to know.. (as Baja put it while talking to him) "I would really like to know how they're all ignoring the fact that it took Kaizen MONTHS to figure out how to beat Tiamat, and that we've only tried 3 times somehow makes us all idiots"

Nobody is calling you an idiot for trying. Nobody even calling you an idiot for failing. CFH's happen, mistakes happen. I remember watching the JP alliance CFH on it 2x in one night when they were still figuring it out.

What is annoying is the constant "omg we got him to 73% today! gogo us!!" Especially the "Tiamat is easy" comment, thats just over the top.

When you beat him, then you can act tough, then you are a player. Until then, stfu about it.. keep to yourselves and nobody will care how many times you fail.
