CPU usage 100 percent

Well i found out whats the problem.When my char enters sky the cpu usage hits 100 percent... and i'm not running any programs or anything.2 GB ram 9800xt graphic card and about 40gb free space in hardrive.So anyone know wtf is it happening? i'm running virus scan on the folder but no clue so far.
 
Thats great... you have ram and a graphics card and enough HD space... but you failed to mention what your CPU is even though this problem is "CPU usage"

if your cpu usage drives up to 100% when you access sky, the pc is trying to process the area that your entering(opening a seperate .dat file) and your pc could and should be able to do it, but files taht have errors or other such things could cause the pc to have a hard time opening it.
goes along with the issue that some people used to have when trying to access their moghouse....their shit would crash. i cant remember what fixed it(uninstall/reinstall) it was too long ago to remember.

This isn't the flameboard. He's here with a legitimate request for help. Is it really necessary to jump all over him for an oversight?
 
With my vast repertoire of computer knowledge, I emphatically recommend that you push the button and jiggle the lever.
 
Hmmm Could be Spyware but you never know... -. - my last computer died from a virus though and I scanned it and never said anything and when it did we fixed it but ah.. whatever..

If I wanted to make it a flame, I would. I didn't, and left it well enough alone. One comment does not a flame make.
 
doubtful that its spyware or virus. either of those 2 would cause it to go 100% all the time.,...not just when accessing one area
 
When you play your game.

Turn off your virus scanner
Turn off all that stuff in your taskbar that your not using
Remove any spywear you might have.

Your CPU will always go to 100% every so often, thats just means it working. What you don't want it doing is working unnessesaily (spelling ><).
 
Unless your CPU is in idle mode you want it at 100%. Would you like only 50%-75% of the power you paid for going to waste? I think not... When you multytask, it breaks up that 100% so you may be using 80% for your game and 20% on something else. but all in all you should be using 100% of your Prock while gaiming. that's normal.

What you may be experiencing is a corrupted Dat, possibly for the environment. Do a File check on your game and fix the broken jor corrupted files. All the Virus scanner shit and popup etc... would/should happen consistantly throughout the game not just in sky.
